Good to see Lagos is not doing badly as an oil-producing state as its contribution is higher than Abia and Imo put together.

Though some haters would spit venom because it didn't favour them would not change the fact about oil-producing states in Nigeria.


They are already denying the reality. The guy that commented before you is a testament to it.

Apart from the South South, the South West is the second highest oil producing region in Nigeria.

I have reasons to doubt this statistics. It's likely formulated, especially as the source links have no ties to the oil and gas, or statistics media in the country.

When did Bayelsa drop so low and why? The last official volume was over 500,000 barrels per day.

I didn't see any news pointing to what happened there that depleted their quota.
My thoughts exactly. Seems some people want to jubilate and so, will look for any news, even fake, to do so.

Even when Kogi State was created (1991), Sokoto was already a built-up, modern city with dualized roads, traffic & street lights, parks & gardens, stadium, supermarkets, five star hotel, cinema, housing estates, good road network, university etc.

Ask those who know about UTC, Domo Stores, Lodge Road & Govt House Parks, Giginya Stadium, Rima Squash, Polo Club, Giginya Five Star etc.

It remains one of the oldest yet most modern & understated city capitals in the North and indeed, Nigeria.
