Ogun State Is Not Taking Advantage Of Lagos by Afam4eva(m): 5:26pm On Oct 27, 2011
Why is the government of Ogun state not taking advantage of it's closeness to Lagos to build one of the most sought after city after Lagos. One would have thought that it will use to it's merit it's close proximity to Lagos to drive massive investment because Lagos as it is, is full and the next stop for investors should ordinarily be Ogun state but it seems the government of that state is clueless.

It's states like Ogun and others that should be building things like Tinapa, Lekki free trade Zone etc. The state should invest in real estate and other infrastructure that will drive investors from Lagos to Ogun.

It is actually, When last have you been to ogun or edge of lagos ?

people don't leave in lagos again to work in lagos

Majority of the people live in OYO OR OGUN and work in lagos

In fact house prices in Oyo and ogun is third to abuja and lagos/port harcourt city.

A house rent for 600,000 Niara in Lagos/year is not 400,000 in Ibadan per year

This is a valid observation in my opinion. Apart from Ogun state, another state that's yet to tap into its relative closeness to Lagos is Oyo.
