That pounced rat u just trapped might be one thats nursing newly born babies. The babies wil continue to wait endlessly inside the hole for their mother to come back and bring them food to eat (but their mother have been traped somewhere while insearch of food for her youngs.) until they eventually die of starvation.

This one na talk? What about other animals that you kill for food don't they have children waiting for them to come back? Do you know how many chicken, cow, goat etc that you have turned fatherless and motherless?
