popplm:Kanni wolè right? Please provide more info - where can I get some for myself? Are they butterfly larvae or something else? Grand'am use to prepare efo-riro with those and I'd as well picked them all off and throw away! Took me many years before I could muster enough courage to eat one, but when I eventually did... I just couldn't seem to have enough of it! |

This is one of my favorites. We call it wigu in Igbo language. Very nutritious and tasty when you fry it. They're mostly found on the trees. The moment you start screaming weeeeeeeeh!! They will begin to vibrate on top of the trees and start falling from those trees. I picked and ate those creatures alot when I was a teenager. |
