Kani, I remember when my pops brought it home tha we will cook it wiling egusi and beef. I say I no go chop o. Later for night when hungry wire me, I say make I go tif meat for pot na him one mistakenly enter my mouth. Before morning I don clear every single one for pot. The tin sweet die.

This is a nutritious meat that sustained most homes in my home town during the 1983 crisis and military government austerity that led to famine. Its called "kánnì" in my l9cal language and I don't know what it's called in English. Do you know this creature and what is it called in your local language?

These ones are beautiful compare to the types have seen which are yellowish in colour and mostly find in rotten palm fruit tree.

Aswear very important question because last time I checked, this is butterfly pupert stage and we don't eat it rather we eat one that born by a particular birds and very rare occasions that we harvest it.

It is called Ijẹkujẹ in Yoruba.
