Lolzzzzz 🤣

Me I'm not concerned by any ethnic group aggrandisement

Yeah. I had to explain my utterances because of your previous comment. I am Yoruba and I think there is no Nigerians who does not understand that attacking and trying to belittle the Yorubas every second of the day is an obsession for most Igbos.

Like I said before, show same deplorable road in Edo, Niger, Benue, Osun or Bayelsa where people don't make false claims of having 30 billionaires on their road while insulting and belittling other Nigerians, and most will commiserate with them, even make positive suggestions, and move on.

Igbos offensively rile other Nigerians up, because of their inferiority complex and hateful disposition, so people will call them out at times like this.

You must know the saying "piking wey say him mama no go sleep, him sef no go sleep".

That is why we need state autommy.... where states are in control of their resources and revenue, income ...in which the states will then have sufficient funds, money to do all this bad federal roads within their states without waiting for many years for the federal government to come and do it

Regional autonomy is even better because State can join resources for greater efficacy, funding efficacy and transfer of knowledge.

For example, State policing is a laudable idea but would never be affordable for States like Bayelsa, Ekiti, Benue, Taraba etc but regional policing can be funded by the SW, SS, North Central, NE etal.

You can't call that an express way. Looks like a safari park.

Generalmystic:
This is federal road, you don't get it?. As Rich as Lagos is, Federal government is undertaking the construction of most federal roads and infrastructures there, but you want states in south east to use their meager revenue from federal government to construct federal roads.

If the road is utmostly important, the state government can take it up, rebuild it and give the receipt to the FG who pays later. TINUBU did it with state IGR when allocation was siezed, FASHOLA did it with expansion of lagos-badagry from six lane to ten and the construction of new three interchange bridges along the expressway for seemless inter-connectivity into surrounding areas not initially considered, even though he left not being able to finish off all of them, AMBODE did it with IKEJA AIRPORT ROAD (even enlarging it from six to ten lanes), SANWO OLU himself did it with the portion of badagry expressway that FASHOLA couldn't tarred by getting it tarred as far as the MILE 2 axis, and completed the three interchange bridges along the route (claiming them as LASG properties that they rightly are).
DAPO ABIODUN of OGUN STATE just took up one FG road too.

https://businessday.ng/opinion/article/respite-for-motorists-travellers-as-ogun-takes-over-construction-of-lagos-ota-abeokuta-road/

At least, as serious government, do palliative works on the road to get it a little more condusive for motorists till you can get the FG attention.

And contrary to falsehood being peddled already here, IT'S UNARGUABLY TRUE THAT THE APC GOVERNMENT DID MORE PROJECTS IN AND FOR THE SOUTH EAST THAN THE ENTIRE PDP 16YRS.

Dangote is not the Minister of works, Governor of Enugu or part of the government

You smile because of the hatred he is hausa, northerner and a Muslim, it's nothing new from your side

But no matter the amount of Dangote trailer that falls, wether it's 1 or 100. He will never be as poor as your father
ostartruth:

Leave that road I beg.
Each time I pass and I see Dangote truck fell off with all tyres up, I smile within me cos it simply means that bad leadership is no respecter of religion or ethnic group. So many people from the Southeast had cried over the said road that connect Benue and Enugu but nothing was done or planned to be done. Maybe they will be thinking it's a favour to Igbos alone.
Expectedly next year the road will be cut off entirely. Thank God some guys as cashing out from drivers who chose to run away from trenches created by their brothers on top.

Same hatred you have is reciprocated well equally here and I am sure your wretched father knows better

Then you should've come out of the closet and be real, instead of beating around the bush

So because they are northerners, make them drive the trucks on air or what's your point?
Ekalerdehan:

Some of those truck drivers are northerns or your kin

You don't have any idea about what we are going through on Calabar-Itu highway. The FG intentionally cut off SS/SE from development. That's what I know.

Shattap! Wawa. Even here in the north, those states that can't wait for FG and what development, they use state funds to built FG roads while getting a refund
ggood:
Mugu so you want Igbos to construct federal roads by themselves abi while Fg construct South West .

Or even philanthropic billionaires. This is an expectedly normal concept some are now pretending not to understand.

Bill Gates and many genuine billionaires fund infrastructural development projects worldwide every damn day in nations they are unconnected

The usual federal and state road argument is bullcrap when we are talking supposedly copious private cash some will not miss.
why using bill gates and others?

Why not tell us how many alakija, otedola, dangote, adenuga have constructed in Osun and kano respectively?

Lol. Mention Osun or Ondo if you like even. Suffice to say you are dull and missing the point if you don’t understand it is not Yorubas always bragging insecurely and daily, simply to shade other Nigerians, about 500 billionaire on every road in the SW.

Go back and read a response where I said were this image from states with normal and non-braggart people then no biggie.

You people are so unrepentantly arrogant, beyond redemption, you can’t even appreciate the dig directed at you that would not be so were this about any other region of Nigeria.

Igboland still hosts the 500 billionaires thing .
Must they use the money to do federal roads?
I replied your post appropriately. You mentioned Benue and I told you that it's even majorly a Benue road.

Socialism is the cause of all these.
Everyone is quick to blame government and wouldn't want to address the root cause of the problem.

Right question to ask is ;
Who is digging these roads this deep? Of course trucks.

The next question is why?
They carry way more loads higher than what the contractors planned for vehicles plying the route.

Solution?
Introduce weigh bridges/stations across the country so that drivers carrying above their designated carrying capacities will pay an instant penalty on the spot ,so that this revenue will be used to service these kind of damage when they arise.

Everything no be government, fucking black pigs that can't get nothing right,
Fuckers.
Well said.

That's the difference, Dave Umahi as Governor of Ebonyi state built all roads that cut across Ebonyi. He didn't wait for any Federal shit. U can't see this in any part of Ebonyi

I only meant that everyone uses the road and the federal government should repair the road to ease the sufferings of all Nigerians.
People are using the bad state of federals roads in southeast to mock the Igbos but it just sounds funny to me.

The same lagos badagry road that is still under construction two governors later… the road is being repaired by a joint venture of federal government, lagos state government and ECOWAS

Go back to verify what I wrote. FASHOLA expanded the road to ten lanes with further space for rail line inbetween but he couldn't tarred it eventhough he was constructing three different interchanges at different locations along the road for seemless navigation into developing districts. SANWO OLU came into power to conclude the interchanges (although with toll facilities in agreement with FG) AND (observe this properly) TARRED THE PORTION OF THE ROAD UP UNTIL MILE 2 to ease the burden of the commutters along the axis. The tarred portion's been there since his first year of his first tenure (that he declared state of emergency on delapidated roads AMBODE left about town), ask around.

Don't lie young man, I live at Iba Estate, fashola just demolished houses, most of the road remains 4 lanes till this day. Especially after Vesper.
Na so una APC guys dey lie online that Buhari repaired all the South East expressway but this pictures on this thread proves otherwise. Say the truth and shame the devil
