If he didn't use LASG funds to pay the hefty #200m legal fee, Sanwo-Olu should kindly explain how a career, lifetime civil servant was able to afford #200m legal fees.

A man who has no business, isn't from a prominent, wealthy family, earning from some IP or invention?

Nigeria? NGMI

@Misterc, and could you have written a much better, terse response?

You people are still struggling with the hangover of defeats at both the presidential and governorship levels.

GRV said he didn't have the consciousness of a Yoruba. So, the people rejected him like a rejected proposal at the polls.

There are a lot of things that are shared on the internet that I find quite disturbing.

More disturbing is the fact that people react and share these information without trying to authenticate or verify them.

Even if Gov. Sanwo Olu dipped his hands into public scoffers and used 200m to pay for legal fees, do you think he would be dumb enough to put such information in the prying eyes of the public?

Don't you think that insiders can leak out informations.

The Gov does not need to put it out to the public but insider information comes to the public by staff. There are still very good number of workers in each of the govt office and parastatal who are loyal to any of the other candidates and parties, so information will always leak and the public will know.

Incumbent governors are guilty of this.
If it was not oluomo and his agbero followers who Tinubu uses for election rigging,Lagos State would have been rescue from the caprice of bourdilon.

Anyone that thinks a governor in Nigeria pays legal fees from his pocket or salary must be living in cuckoo land.
A country where security votes is non accountable is expecting a sitting governor to be drawing money for legal fees or indeed any other expense from his personal fund.
Jokers!
It is wrong but that is the system we have come to embrace and live with.
Buhari was the one many thought had the integrity and the austerity of living to correct the various anomalies in the system of governance and accountability that was existing;but it was later found that he was not only a scam of a politician and human but neither had the desire, intellect or the will to carry out any of the propaganda his election campaigns over 12years were based on.

The answer is "Yes".

Anyone who goes through any budget for either state or federal will be shocked at some of the line items.

Nigerian politicians are not known for their sensibilities or discretion.
