He won't resign. It's just a formality. There's more to loot as a minster than senator who is only useful for Is and neighs
He will.ministry of labour isn't juicy.highest he can hang on till apex court rules on who the gov is so that if apc loses,nentawe is compensated.
As a senator,there's job security plus he's more closer to the masses and politics of plateau.

@tetralogyfallot

cos senatorial position is a contested position unlike ministerial position that u can be fired at any time the president wishes.

@me
The workload as a minister in this regime nobi small. Everyone of them is on their toes. These few months as labour minister what he saw in the hands of NLC eh. As a senator he can hide himself and be doing " I move for adjournment.

Governors loot is way higher than a senator.

Governor controls both the state judiciary and local governments money

Oh shut it!! No one will leave a ministry to go and be neighing.
So why did Umahi and Onyejeocha reject the job security? Shift!!

Well, this settles the question of which is more lucrative, being a Senator is more lucrative than being a Minister...looting continua.

The Nigerian Senate is a cult of sophisticated shameless looters who bows to the dictates of the executive arm of government, an anomaly never recorded anywhere else on the planet.
It's better to avoid Hadiza Bala-Usman's performance appraisal o.

It does not..

Because there are Super Ministers and there are Super Senators.

He was only Minister for Labour FFS.

Do you think he would have resigned if he was Minister for Works, Power or Transportation?

Also a Senate President or a Senate Majority Leader would hardly quit to be a Minster.

Why leave a ministerial position to be a senator?
APC will be beaten by PDP in a bye election.

Nah...he doesn't care about that...they all runnin' cos they know the govt. is colossal failure and will be most unpopular in history...so it's better to be a senator than to be a minister....no direct blame goes to senators...

Didn't you see/hear a Nigerian senator blaming you for not fixing the roads in/to his constituency, hence his need to buy N160M Land Cruiser Prado to travel there?

No accountability + excess looting spree as senator

Is it not better for him? He has not made any impact in that Ministry ever since he was appointed Minister. I hardly heard about that Ministry in the news since he became a Minister.

Oga,there's nothing in labour ministry.besides if he rejects senate,apc will likely not win a rerun even if pdp is excluded.
You cannot compare works ministry with senate.the budget for his ministry is at least 500bil and mainly on projects which gives him leeway to loot heavily unlike labour ministry that is mainly recurrent

Was it not under labour ministry that Keyamo got 52bn to play with as minister of state? Will a senator see half of 52bn in all the four years they are to Hi and neigh?

So he prefers being a senator to a minister
This man knows what is doing, if he refused another election would be conducted APC can never win in that state , court gave him this one... So APC has both Senate and minister now..
