United Kingdom population is less than 30% of Nigeria's population, yet there are about 200 universities. Nigeria needs more universities

With no jobs to give graduates , Nigeria already has enough graduates these ppl should rather push for more industrialization and empower existing and upcoming entrepreneurs so that Job creation can be sufficient.
The existing unis should be upgraded and properly funded

The agitation for the establishment of tertiary institutions have now replaced agitation for the creation of more States.



Just like most politically created States that are unviable without monthly allocations from FAAC, the new trend is the creation of more higher institutions without talking of the means of funding them.

Nigeria is in trouble. Real fools have taken over the national assembly. They don't even consider geographical spread. Time Nigerians leave tribal and religious bickering behind and join hands to face this economic, political, financial and societal disaster called the national assembly. It's a monster that we must all join hands to destroy.

When will they push for the abolition of the senate like Senegal once did? This is the conversation we should be having ñow if we were a serious country.

Only God knows what this people are up to? Is like when these people get to the National Assembly, their common sense which is not common anyway will be taken out from them. How can a right thinking person make this kind of proposal. We don't need 32 university or poly, what we need is 64 new industry or company

rubbish, didn't we read about staff shortage in the existing higher institutions today? now you want to add another 32? the ones on ground are grossly underfunded. that's why I love Ghana, just 6 universities in the whole country but very solid schools.

Low IQ can make a man ask wrongly, Nigeria needs industries where the hundreds of thousands of graduates produced can be gainfully engaged, FGN cannot fund existing schools and some people are asking for more.
