Funnily enough, many people in China will agree with that statement, particularly the older gen, who recall the tranquil old days before heavy traffic and skyscrapers everywhere you turn.

The Igbo people already knew about the Benin empire and named the city Idu. It's said that Idu is the son of the progenitor present day Aguleri.

Aguleri is the founding place of ndị Ìgbo. In Igbo folklore, we start by saying "akụkọ iduu na ọbá". This is us reminding our kids about our old brother iduu.
