When Yardua was sick, Akeredolu asked him to handover to his vice, now that Akeredolu is sick, he does not want to step down and handover power to his deputy.

These politicians are just greedy, callous and selfish. This man is a vegetable already but still clinging to power due to selfish reasons, the state assembly are not helping matters because they are governor boys in office. That is the point,why the Youths are not happy with the Past Leaders and some Present crops of Politicians, even in some South West - that should lead them in good governance- some States are Worst off!
•Imagine, Retirees -workers will wait- 3yrs,some 4- 7 yrs, before Payments of Gratuity and Pensions,as the Governors,their Representatives- use the Retirees Fund/ Money for personal Enrichment and get rebates with Banks!
•Don't they know that they too will retire one day and no wander,they Steal so much to cover their evil deeds!
•Many of the Retirees are too weak,very sick and feeble,as they can't take Care of themselves!
Many of them are having running battles with their Employers- who refused to pay their entitlements and are in the Nigerian -Courts!
You know- Nigerian Courts are Delayed- die- where Case of 5-11 years are piled Up! Yet,these Courts are given Orders from above -to Settle Political Cases- immediately,as if the other Retirees Cases have no live! Can the Courts Pay for Inflations on the Cases they delay? Delay is also denial!
•That is why the NLC and their acolytes are weak and funny guys,as they are not concerned with Nigeria Retirees troubles!
•Have you seen your NLC,TUC and even the ASUU leaders talking
about Millions of Retirees chaotic situations- as these Retirees lived in a fixed Monthly Payments- some receiving as low as 5K,15K and 20K,to eat well in this Inflationary pressures?
How much would these retirees spent on Health life-line today e.g one Augmenteen Tab is 25k now!

This nonsense trend by State governments holding ceremonies to pay salaries, pensions etc is not just a shame but an insult to the workers to say the least. People who should be apologizing for delaying staff emoluments are being praised for doing what exactly?

What is there to celebrate? That you have no shame ? Or that you lack responsibility to take care of your retired workers ?
I don't see anything worth celebrating In this.
Many attempts to get their rights subjects them to ridiculous bargaining by th!efs, some offer to collect 25 % some even bargain 50%.

Retired teachers and local government workers earn peanuts in that state. So I think the 1Billion dollars will serve the purpose

Pensioners still earn 3k monthly, while LG workers maybe earning 15k monthly also

My late dad's gratuity is still with them because we declined their 20% bargain.
