Making Fashola the minister of power in the last administration totally killed the power sector. He had zero understanding of the sector and spent the whole four years in the ministry trying to understand how it works and ended the administration without still knowing anything . His only activities were clamouring for constant tarriff increase and discouraging the legislature from criminalizing estimated billing . This was what led the late Abba Kyari attempting to do the work of the minister of power and died in the process after contacting covid 19 in Germany for the same Siemens power contract . I just hope people with good knowledge of what power sector is all about should be allowed to handle the sector.

From our observations,you seems to be a Silent achiever,at least from the pictures of the Agreement with the Siemens!
But importantly,you need to move Faster,as Nigeria is behind Power/ Energy baseline- set by the World.
In particular,the DISCOS,the Gemco are not doing enough but has brought Frustrations to Nigerians because they are the real problems in Improving Lights! This has led many Nigerian Youths- to Japa to other Countries- where the Lights are Constant,Infrastructures are available and Jobs are Stable!
•Sir,the National Grid is a Fraudulent Entity- as some of us have been hearing this ' Nations Grid' since the Secondary School Days, and has not improved beyond 3-4000 mega, unless we are deceiving ourselves!
•As a Minister,can you guarantee Nigerians- when we would have 24/7 Lights?

Stop the mis-information. The Power portfolio was later dropped from his duties. It's an ill-informed decision by Buhari to have given only one man 3 powerful portfolios; Works, Housing and Power. Perhaps if he had concentrated on power only things would have been a lot different. And sorry to say what is Abba Kyari-a Chief of Staff's business with Power while sidelining the Minister of Power?
