The truth is many drone strikes have a lot of collateral damage. Many US drone strikes in Pakistan killed and injured men, women and children. The full picture is never given.

Since the deed has been done, it would be a welcome development if the victims are compensated. In Northern Nigeriaa, a man can have as many as 30 children. The death of the breadwinner can lead to a lot of suffering.

Operating drone or drones that can cause those huge impact are not licensed? Can someone just develop or import a drone or drones without proper paperwork and no supervising authority in charge in this country?
That attack was uncalled for and very terrible it's highly condensed.

Why do many of you make such insane comments! This isn't the first time fighter jets have been used to attack bandits. There has been at least 2 other occasions.

The problem is that the firepower of these fighter jets is simply too much and is unaporopriate to be used in situations such as these.

To deal with bandits or better still, marauder bands as this are what these criminals really are, special forces will be the best.

This will heavily reduce the risk of collateral damage. Also, these bandits tend to have hostages they hold to discourage attacks from government forces.

If Nigeria was like some countries, if carpetbombing entire villages and settlements would mean an end to the bandits, all well and good.

What’s the reality? How did the military determine that over 110 humans who were made in God’s image and likeness were all terrorists? Or they simply want to prove a point as to the efficacy of drones ( borrowed tech)?
If you look closely at those pics, you’ll realize that there are aged women and children killed as well? Were these also terrorists?
I am not typing this as a regular guy on the street but as someone who’s serving in the most advanced nation’s military on earth.

This military should be proscribed, abeg. I support IPOB/ESN to prescribe and ban them from entering/operating in the territories of the southeast. This is a useless military.

We warned them when they were massively recruiting 'repentant' boko haram terrorists into the armed forces out of ethnoreligious sentiments.
