Look at that, cargo clearance. Y'all turned the country into a dump site with all kinds of junks being wasted on dollars, shameless wailers. During the election, they were screaming "from consumption to production" yet they are the biggest culprits of importation. Crying over another man's currency than to strengthen the local currency.
Don't be a fool. You are only making the common man poorer and making goods more expensive.
You do not fix production by hurting importation.
Fix your electricity and your production would go up.

now that we are not importing, is the naira going up?
When rice import was banned, did the price dropped or quadrupled?

Does supporting APC automatically render you people uselesss and senselesssss

Exactly the point, let's keep importing everything including toothpicks and eggs and naira keeps going down. Trash

Why are you guys so aggressive about importation?, has it not done enough damage on the economy?
Your understanding of economics seems to be at a primary school level.
Importation doesn't harm economies...Every nation relies on imports for goods that aren't locally available or that are more cost-effective in other countries.

There are industries in countries all over the world that are supported by importation from other countries.
Countries rely heavily on importation for economic growth and development.

Is Tinubu’s junketing with hundreds of delegates around the world a way to strengthen our currency, which is why Naira is going from worse to worse

These demons in power no longer hide their intentions impoverish as many Nigerians as possible. Ironically, it is working because the poorer Nigerians get, the more they love APC.

Some of us never fell for APC's deceitful politricks. I started voting so I could vote against Buhari. I never voted for him, I didn't vote for Tinubu. To be honest, I was also appalled at PDP when they were in power. They weren't any better.
If anyone rules well regardless of party, I will support their government.

Asian countries with free education for all children that progressive Tinubu failed to do

If you have a personal car, I'm 10000% sure it's not made in Nigeria.

Please, what is the alternative to flight tickets?

Abi na bus from Abuja to Anambra?

Now, when the big business man and woman pay 100% increment on basic services, it will affect their powers of paying their own workers.

Now, this is the case in Nigeria since may 2023.the federal government has increased prices of all goods and services by 300% in just 2/4 of a single business Yr and they have not paid 1kobo as bailout to any body.

May all u do to Nigeria happen u and ur generation

Just say your education is inadequate to understand that this has nothing to do with the Federal Government directly but forces of demand and supply for forex as government can't keep subsidizing private businesses.

If you want to price dollar-dependent services just like airlines ticket, you buy your forex at willing seller prices. Alternatively, you innovate and get local alternatives.

This policy of forex free float favours exporters and partly why we are now getting more money from exports than import. It's no brainer that the rent seeking container import business is a dying tribe.

You'll never see this fowl wear aba shirts, it's only D&G and Giorgio Armani and anything that looks fancy.

Like it or nor, land transport is still an option. And if for any reason its not an option for you, then you stay in your location. Millions of people still travel inter city by road everyday. For them, going by air is not even an option and they haven't died. Same way some people will never get on a plane in their lifetime and it doesn't mean they wont live good lives.

Because u are dumb, don't think that other people are also dumb.

U and tinubu analysis of saving for infrastructure is the same thing as this;

A man asked his family to live outside
So that he can save enough money to build a mansion

U and tinubu are mat.

A clear sign of a strong economy is when any government in any country can raise tariffs on imported goods. P & G will soon regret their decision or maybe they won't since they say $50 million profits is small money to dem.

The question you should be asking yourself is, are these items currently produced locally? Do we have the raw materials locally to aid production?

I hope you are also aware that the phones, computers and other IT related products you use on a daily basis are all affected by this increment? It is understandable, when this is done for specific products that are locally produced but as it is affecting all imported products, what you get is all round inflation

When Buhari became president and immediately closed all the boarder without thinking about its consequences, i known things will get bad.

Emilokan too dont even wait to get to office to know what is on ground. The day of swearing in he immediately removed subsidy.

Those kinds of action is bad for the economy long term. Even in the con3s that have things going fine they dont just change things anyhow, they study it, think of the effect short term and long term.

Remember that UK p.m Liz Trust she have to resign cause of changes made that cause problem to the economy.

With high inflation, even tho the central bank know that by increasing the intreast rate it will come down. They will never increase it in a kind of abnormal way that will affect the people.

The problem with Nigeria politicians is that they dont go to the same market common people goes to, so they do things in a kind of abnormal way, like a quick fix that will bring about a bigger problems.
