Look at that, cargo clearance. Y'all turned the country into a dump site with all kinds of junks being wasted on dollars, shameless wailers. During the election, they were screaming "from consumption to production" yet they are the biggest culprits of importation. Crying over another man's currency than to strengthen the local currency.

Stupidity must be your middle name; and foolishness, your surname. You used an imported phone to type this rubbish. Why didn't your father set up a phone factory in Nigeria to strengthen the local currency? Have you ever experienced the various frustrations of growing a business in Nigeria? Even billion-dollar multinationals are packing up and out of Nigeria. But your bigoted brain is no longer functional because your tribesman is in power.
You buy imported designer clothes, shoes, and perfumes and look forward to riding in your friend's Benz, but the same cynical you wants to grow your local currency. At the end of tinubu's tenure, we would be here to see by how much yorubas became better off than Igbos.

But we are still December now. I think we should start firing them by January if they failed to meet up this December.

These demons in power no longer hide their intentions impoverish as many Nigerians as possible. Ironically, it is working because the poorer Nigerians get, the more they love APC, or how do you explain APCs recent landslide wins in Kogi and Imo?.

Exactly. Is this the so called BAT renewed hope .

Of course it includes export. When exporters make dollars what rate do they convert their dollars to naira

Too bad. I wonder what the rate is in Ghana or Benin Republic. An alternative would be to exempt exporters from clearance at all, as well as those who import equipment and machinery.

It's high time to be looking inward now, no more joke or lip service about changing Nigeria's economy but government commitment to see it happen.

Una go just open mouth waaaa dey talk rubbish. First of all, where have you seen college kids assembling smartphones? Secondly, how can you run a business in a country where the macro-economic climate is very unstable? Do you know what it takes to run a business? If you do, can you in clear conscience say that they are available in this country? Let's be rational and truthful in our opinion
femisplash:

College kids in Asian countries cobble together the phones imported, you look for dollars to bring these phones while college kids get paid, aren't you shameless?. it is corrupt minds like you that had deliberately sabotaged the refineries so they could keep importing fuel. No nation develops with 90% import dependency. This lazy and greedy mentality has to stop.

Typical calcified encephalon…your chinko phone prices will go up. Your petrol and diesel prices will go up. Your cars, okada, computer prices will go up. Your shoprite and market women prices will go.. Ege why? You use all imported products… because your leaders have refused to fix electricity and infrastructure.

Also, the greastest importers are Otedola, Dangonte, Oando. Tinubus own Oando.. and they are the greatest beneficiary of fuel import and subsidies
