Bandits Killed Over 750 Civilians, Kidnapped 45 From Schools In 2023 by treesun: 2:55pm On Dec 09, 2023
At least 750 persons have been killed by bandits, terrorists and other non-state actors, while no less than 45 persons were abducted from various educational institutions in the country in 2023.

According to a report by Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) the year which opened with reports of attacks on unarmed civilians by insurgents and other non-state actors on one hand, and the security forces on another is also ending the same way.

The 2023 human rights report was issued on Friday in Abuja by PLAC’s Executive Director, Clement Nwankwo at an event to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Human Rights Day themed “Freedom, Equality and Justice for All.”

Nwankwo said it was against the backdrop of ravaging insecurity, arbitrariness exhibited by state institutions and deepening levels of poverty that the status of human rights protection in the year 2023 was examined.

He regretted that life in general had remained insecure in most parts of the country, even as soldiers were deployed in virtually all of Nigeria’s 36 States.

Northern Nigeria is underreported in the media and that's terribly bad. That's because all the mainstream media houses are domiciled in the South West. Nigerians in the north shouldn't be dying unnoticed.

Tinubu & APC apologists should refute or confirm the casualty figures.

President will not resign
IGP, COAS and other security chiefs are sighting very tight..

NOBODY RESIGNS.. NOBODY IS FIRED!!.... Genocide is normal business as usual in TINUBU's Nigeria.

Reasons include but not limited to:

1️⃣ Religion dogma.

2️⃣ Hyper illiteracy.

3️⃣ Ethno-religion political indoctrination.

4️⃣ Mass Poverty.

5️⃣ Religion dogma: Jihad, which is the foundational problem.

Largely a self inflicted predicament.

It will be worse in the coming years if the above remain unresolved.

The number of people who have died in the hands of bandit's is much more than the report they are giving us.

The level of insecurity in Nigeria is alarming, but they are playing politics with everything. Nobody is saying anything, nobody is protesting because they don't want to paint the present government bad.

The most annoying set of people are the ones shouting,I stand with Hamas. You are standing with Hamas, while no where is save in your own country.
You are protesting for people living in far Arab country, but can't say anything about your brothers and sisters. Shameless people.

Sorrow Tears and Blood
Song by Fela Aníkúlápó Kuti

Hey yeah
Everybody run, run, run
Everybody scatter, scatter
Some people lost some bread
Someone nearly die
Someone just die
Police dey come, army dey come
Confusion everywhere
Hey yeah
Seven minutes later
All done cool down, brother
Police done go away
Army done disappear
Them leave sorrow, tears, and blood
Them regular trademark
Them leave sorrow, tears, and blood
(Them regular trademark) them regular trademark
(Them regular trademark)
That is why
Everybody run, run, run
Everybody scatter, scatter
Someone nearly died
Some people lost some bread
Someone just die
Police dey come, army dey come
Confusion everywhere
Hey yeah
Seven minutes later
All done cool down, brother
Police done go away
Army done disappear
Them leave sorrow, tears, and blood
Them regular trademark
Them leave sorrow, tears, and blood
Them regular trademark
La, la, la, la
My people self dey fear too much
We fear for the thing we no see
We fear for the air around us
We fear to fight for freedom
We fear to fight for liberty
We fear to fight for justice
We fear to fight for happiness
We always get reason to fear
We no want die
We no want wound
We no want quench
We no want go
I get one child
Mama dey for house
Papa dey for house
I want build house
I don build house
I no want quench
I want enjoy
I no want go
Ah
So policeman go slap your face
You no go talk
Army man go whip your yansh
You go dey look like donkey
Rhodesia dey do them own
Our leaders dey yab for nothing
South Africa dey do them own
Them leave sorrow, tears, and blood
Them regular trademark
Them regular trademark (them regular trademark)
Them regular trademark
Regular trademark (them regular trademark)
That is why
Everybody run, run, run
Everybody scatter, scatter
Some people lost some bread
Somene nearly die
Police dey come, army dey come
Confusion everywhere
Ah, na so
Time will dey go
Time no wait for nobody
Like that: choo, choo, choo, choo, ah
But police go dey come, army go dey come
With confusion
In style like this
Everybody run, run, run
Everybody scatter, scatter
Some people lost some bread
Someone nearly die
Someone just die
Police dey come, army dey come
Confusion everywhere
Hey yeah
Seven minutes later
All done cool down, brother
Police done go away
Army done disappear
Them leave sorrow, tears, and blood
Them regular trademark (them regular trademark)
Them leave sorrow, tears, and blood
Them regular trademark
That is why
Everybody run, run, run
Everybody scatter, scatter
Some people lost some bread
Someone nearly die

I use to notice it. Event happening in west seems to get to the media faster which helps in tackling issues more quickly. Alot of atrocities goes on in other places without being noticed.

The hypocritical attitudes is the major problem. When citizens show concerns the people would pretend.
When Nigerian organized a sensitisation walk two years back with "The north is bleeding"
What'was the response from the people?
