honestly our problem is not politicians but people like you because you guys are the ones that makes these people see nothing in looting public funds in and after office.

Don't mind them they go around supporting evil and later come back to say the country is not moving

People have worked for him to become Governor, he can now flex muscles. Fubara ordinarily cannot win Opobo Local Government chairmanship election.

Who helped wike to become who he is?

No governor made himself a governor in the first place. So Fubara should become an errand boy because he was handpicked

Godfatheriasm is evil and should not be condoned in our politics

Show us receipts where Wike was paid 40% of Rivers money.

And what exactly is "is this what you people stand for"? It is lunacy to write such comment based entirely on assumptions or hearsay. Bring facts and figures to a conversation, that way, you are better appreciated for the inputs, not this comical reprieve you are exhibiting here. So Keep your holier than thou attitude to yourself, atleast, until you have something worthwhile to show.

You support Wike going 8 years without making his budget public? Or, do you need a receipt for that?

Wike had always claimed his budgets are in the public domain. They were always available in the River state website and the office of the commissioner for information.

I don't support Wike, I just hate ingratitude naturally.

In a time of war, any action taken is...

This war in Rivers is unnecessary.

Yes, Party is supreme and as the leader of the Party in Rivers, Wike has a choice now to choose war or end the war. Let wisdom guide him at this point in time or history and posterity will judge him.

You are a thief and a criminal like Wike. You buffoons who follow these lootocractic demented politicians are the biggest problems.
You all should be tied to a stake and shot to pieces, if Nigeria must get better. Cleanse the country vermins like you and we can breath fresh air..

Yes he should have sacked them but I like what he did.
he's biting Wike and blowing him simultaneously.
you think fubara didn't know this will happen when he knew that all the commissioners where nominated by Wike ?
he's just being tactical here playing victim at the same attacking Wike viciously.
only someone with balls will pass that budget with only 4 HOA members.
not every governor can do that especially in a state like rivers.
Fubara is just waiting for Supreme Court judgment which is the last card of Wike.
if Supreme Court mistakenly validates fubara ehhh trust me Wike might never enter rivers again till 4 years because fubara will rain Armageddon on him.

he will win at supreme Court. After then wike will fight back.

LOL. Such a hilarious lie.

I will not even talk about the importance of why a budget needs to be made public because it is the equivalent of saying why we need to breathe air to survive.

“If Rivers people do not know, why Wike, cannot hide our budget, then they are finished and deserve no education from me,” he added.

Please it is common knowledge that for 8 years Wike did not make his budget public. That is how corrupt he was as a Governor. It also shows his ingratitude to those who supported and campaigned for him.

Wike also abandoned many people that helped him to power.

Finally, Wike did not use his father's money or retirement fund to sponsor Sim Fubara. He used looted public funds. That is still ingratitude to the State.

Finally, Sim Fubara did a lot for Wike to as his Finance Director and many of Wike's crime fell on Sim Fubara. So, please, Wike is the main ingrate.

Make the budget public, stop the secrecy, APC urges Gov Wike

The Rivers State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on Governor Nyesome Wike of the state to make public the final appropriation laws (budgets) of the state, and stop the secrecy around the document.

The party in a statement on Friday signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Chris Finebone, noted that the state budgets for the last two years have been shrouded in secrecy, adding that the 2018 appropriation bill should not go the same way.
