What exactly is the problem of some Southwest clowns, if the owerri guy made a claim you feel is not the truth, all you have to do is counter it wit facts not Lamentations, I have been to owerri, and I've been to other states in Nigeria, I believe Aba has better inner roads interconnectivity.

Grid is different from network.
Aba has better connectivity of streets(grid).
But the relationship between Main roads, inner roads and street roads form a network.
Owerri has the best network from satellite images..
See illustration:
From a massive kilometer from point A to B , you can't easily access ekena's , Aba.
And even when you navigate shortly after point B, there is no indication of an alternative route for heavy vehicular movement.

For exampe, from pH road, owerri, you can get to old or new owerri through many major routes; Area u, new state Secretariat, Musa yaradua, hospital junction, Concorde, Sam mbakwe, old state Secretariat/House of assembly etc
Infact from obinze, you can navigate to owerri city center without continuing the long stretch of Ph road

When we talk about a network, we aren't just localizing it within the streets(grid), but how a long stretch of main roads are interconnected to inner roads and to the streets. That's to say, you would find more than 3 routes to an inner road of same axis with a street.
Key words: long stretch, main roads, inner routes, streets

For example, if I'm in police HQ Abuja, I should be able to access the Secretariat through Gimbia street, Area 11 and not always through the main.. that's what we mean by Network.
How a long stretch of roads are connected to many inner routes.

See why owerri has the best road network after the FCT

*You can connect orlu road to amakohia through more than 3 routes

*You can connect mcc to egbu through 4 routes

O n aso gi n'Owerri. You lot have reduced Imo state and its development process to become Owerri.

Go to neighbouring Anambra, Abia, Akwa Ibom, states and see states with multiple cities taken care of by the state govt.

Since Abia and parts of Ebonyi were carved out of Imo state, a combination of factors, including primitive greed in Owerri people have reduced Orlu and Okigwe to glorified villages. No attention from successive governors of Imo state.
You came on NL to reel out roads and roads connections in Owerri; celebrate Owerri but no consciousness to ask: what happened to Orlu and Okigwe that were almost on the same level of urban development with Owerri when Imo state was created in 1976?

Shows you've not travelled in a while
When you say okigwe, what do you mean?
A collection of senatorial areas(Ehime Mbano, Ihitte/Uboma, Isiala Mbano, Obowo, Okigwe, and Onuimo) that are becoming urban or okigwe town wearing a better look with massive road constructions?
Do stick to the topic, so you don't sound like a clown

Mrfeel:

Bro the 3th class citizen tag is something you should laugh about why even get angry over it

There are over 250 ethnic group in Nigeria , if the Igbos who assassinated the greatest man in the north with the second in command , plus a Yoruba prime minister and other Nigerians , and later fought a war against the entire Nigeria for 3 yrs are th3 class citizen not 250th class citizen then it's an insult to those tribes who risked their lives fighting Igbos for Nigeria , pls let them shift the Igbos to 250th citizen being amongst the big 3 is an insult to them

Laugh about it instead

It seems same people are making it happen for you. You should be grateful

In bold above you think you can deceive anyone with your falsehood.

Truth is that indigenes of Owerri senatorial zone share common ancestry with Ikwerre. Owerri zone has no cultural ties, no ancestral connection, and no Igbo accent similarity, with people in Orlu and Okigwe zones; these are reasons why Owerri seized, and continues to seize, every devt instrument in Imo state, for only Owerri zone; without any consideration for Orlu and Okigwe zones.
Creation of present Imo state remains a mistake of mixing Owerri zone with other groups it has no natural connection and affiliation to.
Examples: Owerri zone has developed into more than 4 cities at the expense of Orlu and Okigwe zones that are receding to ultra rural areas.
Yet, people of Owerri can't ask, why?
This is not obtainable in say Anambra State, where the three senatorial districts are bonded by many natural indices.

Answer remains: because Owerri zone has no cultural affinity, no Igbo accent similarity, no natural bonding, to Orlu and Okigwe zones, that's why Owerri seized all government indices for devt in Imo state for only Owerri zone.
If indigenes of Owerri zone have any cultural affinity with people in Orlu and Okigwe zones, they would have become disturbed by the phenomenon of Orlu and Okigwe receding to rural areas. Owerri established the mechanisms to suck the blood of Orlu and Okigwe in Imo state. Vampire must not blow the trumpet. There must be a limit to this mow or never.
