The problem with Nigeria is that we are trying to run a supposedly large economy on a tiny financial base that is decimated by corruption and stealing, which everyone does. And we don't want to do industries because it means a long period of suffering, and that's not what independence was sold to us as...no, independence meant more kudy in our pocket. Did not happen, because it was not possible. But we still believe the lie...somewhat.


Anyway, most of the secessionists know how to do protests. Actual political agitation for secession, they know not. Once it is election, they all line up behind PDP and APC. Am yet to see a party formed that would at the very least promise restructuring now...which could lead to secession. Na to play revolution they all know.
the only glue holding nigeria together now is the act of self preservation from the north,if Nigeria splits and the oil revenue stops coming into north it will be a cataclysmic catastrophe,they will do anything possible to maintain the status quo in the guise of one Nigeria because it ensures their survival,

I somewhat disagree with you post even though l agree with the spirit of the post. Nigeria is a huge success because it fulfilled the purpose for which it was created. It was never created for success and benefit of its indigenes or hodgepodge of nations. It was created by Britain to serves her imperialist interest. Do you have a Facebook handle. All this your epistle is jargons..... We know people like you, even if a party comes out today to campaign on restructuring and all what you've mentioned, people like you would try to dig out one issue or the other to discredit that person..... particularly if he/she is not from you region.
