Any beneficiary of this great Christmas gifts should help us by showing their tickets or any proofs to prove many doubting Thomas wrong
For Kaduna-Abuja train it is 100% free! We got the ticket against tomorrow. God bless Nigeria.

Note: it was difficult to book online at first most probably because the corrupt railway guys frustrated the process so that they could sell the physical tickets.

Shame on you Igbos. You have found ways to truncate this great Asiwaju initiative.

Leave them, they're politically worthless. You should understand their pain because an igbo man lost an election to a SMARTER YORUBA MAN. And they may never smell Aso-rock because power will return to the North in 2031.

Yes, I have someone that came home for the Xmas from sokoto state to Onitsha on Saturday, They were charged #40,700 by ifeanyichukwu transport. After payment they were refunded #15,000 and told that it is the TINUBU subsidy.

For the train, it's a yes too cos I saw a trending video of passengers complaining of overloaded train cos of the free fare. Some said that TINUBU should have left them to pay so that they can travel comfortably.

Good one by the govt. But salary wise thumbs down for them.

you have "somebody" but you dont have yourself.

how is this a good one by governement?

is there budgetary provision for this?

how will Tinubu pay the transporters if indeed such a thing exists?

Tinubu "removed" fuel subsidy and introduced this. how is this different from fuel subsidy?

is it Tinubu that is buying fuel for them?

People are not benefitting already from it because the transporters are yet to comply with the directive.
The government should not be blamed for this.....
Instead, the transporters should comply with the federal government's directive...
Na for only 9ja I don see where business owners no dey respect government.

It’s not going to work

So the government role out a palliative program for transport to cut down 50percent of the cost.

What system did they put to check?
Why implementing this close to Christmas?
They didn’t disburse funds to the company contacted.
How did they come about the data?
Why was Lagos having much of the routes?
Instead of the busy fare why not fuel for just 1month.

Fuel for one month so that Nigerians will hoard it
Nah....
The only statement of yours I agree with is that they should have put a system to check for compliance from transport companies

Very much different, this is for a very short period of time, this is really for the masses and not to enrich the rich, this is for the citizen and not people outside Nigeria like during fuel susidey

Comply?.

Because Tinubu bought their vehicles for them?
Do they not pay taxes?
You want a private enterprise to comply with a “directive”, while you, a government, owe your employee wages?
Is the reluctance by transporters to toe the line here not indicative of the lack of confidence of the business community in this administration?
Need I say more?

The federal government will pay them. They have an agreement on how they will be paid. Some Young Shall Grow teams were interviewed on a radio program in Lagos, and they confirmed it.

It is only the train that will succeed before it is directly linked and owned by the federal government.

I doubt if the very people that need the 50 percent reduction will get it
