That is what they have reduced Nigerians to, beggars. Issuing 2 cups of rice is not the long term solution. Fighting corruption which I know is impossible considering that criminals are now littered everywhere in government is the ideal thing. In fact I don't think Nigeria is redeemable with these set of rogues in power.

Nigerians followers vs leaders...hmmm. They are all the same. Where are all these talkatives during the elections? Citizens who were all busy with their jobs/businesses during the election are now facing incompetency which they could have prevented.

It is TIME to impeach Tinubu from office.

He is a cocaine seller who forged his certificate — No Qualifications!

He is the KING of criminals.
REMOVE him now. . .OR ELSE. . .

He will DESTROY Nigeria in four years.

That's the TRUTH. . .
Let's Face it!!

Is a shame on Bola Ahmed Tinubu to think palliatives is the solution to Nigeria problems

Nigeria's problems didn't start with Tinubu....he has done something....which is better than doing nothing.

Nigeria is how not to be a country.
How do you destroy units to build a whole? It will certainly collapse unless we go back to our former structure(s).

Our leaders have missed it greatly ,who was given palliatives in the days of Awolowo and Zik of Africa? They simply did the needful , established industries and built infrastructures. Promote agriculture and things were running well. It pains me to see modern day leaders buying bicycle and motor cycles for their supporters as a way of empowering them ..it is cheer nonsense ..Awo planted Trees, cacao, built textile factory, planted rubber ,palm trees to cocoa house etc ... Today they embezzle the fund and share peanuts to their visionless supporters and wear clothes calling themselves honorables when Indeed they have lost their honours

Re: Nigeria’s Problem Will Not Be Resolved By Palliatives — Kukah by BondRiv: 4:09pm On Dec 25, 2023
Obviously.

Palliatives by definition do not solve problems. It is a temporary measure pending the solution to the problems.

I have said this several times but the supporters and enablers of evil doesn't want to hear. No matter the palliative shared, it can never solve the perennial inflation and hike in food prices. The people in government and her lovers doesn't think out of box. If they like, let them share trillions of palliative it would never cushion the effects on ground.
The prices of goods and services are skyrocketing everyday, the more they share palliatives, the more things get worse. Until the right things are done, the country will continue to swim in excruciating poverty. Palliatives and prayers won't solve the problems on ground, we need the right things be done right.
List the right things to be done please

Don't worry. The one in Benue is not being allowed by the evil men in APC to focus on his job.. Can you see greed? Same greed created those plantain and Christmas gift bandits in Ibadan. But they will always be in unsatisfied..... It is a curse

So, this man was not there when NLC and the Trade Union were shouting Palliatives. why did he not come out that time and tell Labour and all the Trade unions not to ask for Palliative?
He is saying this meager Palliative (that no reach anywhere) is not the issue, but when Govt removes it, he will be the first to start calling Govt names.
All these sensational man of God.
No Jobs and hunger rule the land, but instead of people turning to God, they are into frauds and rituals because the Religions (church and mosque) had failed.
But this man will never one day call our attention to the rot in the religious houses.
Win souls sir.

The headline is misleading, palliative is palliative; to temporarily give respite. I agree with Baba Kukah but what he asked for cannot be implemented if all stakeholders in Nigeria do not support unless is subtly introduced or implemented
