Oba Makinde's Generosity Shines Bright As Widows in the Community Receive Rice, Cash Gifts

The Oniwoye of Iwoye Yewaland, HRM Oba Makinde Buhari Ololade, the Ilufemiloye (II) Arebigbade (II) has displayed a heart of generosity to his community by supporting widows and less privileged with cash and food items to alleviate the current economic challenges.

The distribution of the food items and cash donations was done at Iwoye township, in Yewa South area of Ogun State.

Oba Makinde explained that the aim was to alleviate the current economic challenges and to celebrate the festive season adding that even though the donation may be small, he urged the beneficiaries to manage it wisely and promises to extend his generosity when he has more resources.

Oniwoye took the opportunity to show appreciation to Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun for his outstanding performance as the Governor., he said it's truly important to acknowledge and support leaders who have made a positive impact in the state they govern.

The monarch also reiterate his promise of unflinching support even after the Governor leaves office, saying that it's a testament to his commitment to the betterment of the state.

He said " Governor Abiodun is indeed a great visionary leader who is dedicated to the progress of his state, His commitment to implementing laudable and visible projects is commendable."

Oniwoye also extended his appreciation and love to Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Sen. Solomon Adeola Olamilekan (Yayi) and the National Assembly lawmaker, Hon. Isiaq Akinlade for bringing development to Yewa communities and its environs.


The widows and less privileged individuals in the community were overwhelmed with gratitude as they received these essential resources.

Oba Makinde therefore promised to be kind and continue to be fairness to the community, adding that he will continue to advocate for development of the community.
