It's not just about the goal. This goal keeper hasn't shown any hint that he is good. He looks bulky, doesnt move well, and hasn't made any save so far..

He looks like a ticking time bomb that will explode soon when he starts facing shots on target.
Make save from which shot ? Aside the shot that led to the goal which other shot has he faced ?
Make Una dey calm down abeg

Nigeria would win this game. We had quality chances in the first 10 minutes of the first half, but we failed to convert any.

Hopefully, we'll sit up in the second half.

I hate to sound like this but the truth must be said. I don’t think Nigeria will go far in this Nations Cup. You may be seeking for a reason but that’s just the bitter truth.
Righteousness exalts a nation. A nation that’s plagued with corruption and shedding of blood wants to be exalted amongst other nations. If not for the prayer of the Church in this country, things would have been worst for the citizens.
Gone are those days when people gather together to support our sportsmen. The people have now been divided across the lines of politics, religion and tribalism.
Until righteousness is restored back to the nation from the top to the bottom…

NB: Take a look at the NTA transmission and see how poor it is. The quality has not improved since all these years. What happened to all the money pumped into it? There are many things wrong with the nation.

I guess the West with all their same sex marriage are more righteous than Nigeria. And what has the Lord's kingdom got to do with football. God is more interested in people being saved so that His will will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Stop all this nonsense. There are many nations worse than Nigeria and do well in soccer

The commentator is saying the play should always be stopped when d ball is in offside position. He should know why d play is always on in such circumstance. The VAR is there to check if a goal is offside or not. So that why play is always allowed to go on in a potentially offside position. He shud know better

He isn't entirely wrong! Ask Man City yesterday.......they lost their goal keeper to injury because a glaring offside was allowed to play at 2 mins into the match. If it's very glaring, they should raise the flag, else, we don't need linesmen again since VAR is there.

The Coach should sub Alex Iwobi and Moses Simon. He should replace them with Aribo and Chukwuemeka. Secondly, why're we playing a 4-5-1 formation? What is the role of Iwobi on the pitch?
I tire oo, no be 4-4-2 we suppose dey play? U sure say dat coach get sense so?
Re: Nigeria Vs Equatorial Guinea: AFCON 2023 (1 - 1 ) On 14th January 2024 by ravensckar(m): 4:02pm On Jan 14
The following players have no business in this match;

1- Alex Iwobi; dude was just running about like a headless chicken.

2- Moses Simon; he's not creative enough in that wing and hasn't been taking on the opponent's defender.

3- Onyeka; guyman dey play as if he's afraid of something.

Overall, a very below-average performance from the SUPER EAGLES. If those Equitorial Guinea guys decide to attack with their full chest, they will win this match. angry angry

Iwobi was too horrible, I don't know how he make to AFCON not to talk of first eleven, definitely the coach is clueless, the midfield generally is poor and putting pressure on defense..

Who dey close to Osimhen should advise him to stop all those irritating gesture and complaints even when ball is still in play.
Let him not make mockery of the award he just won. He should learn to bring in some elements of maturity on how he carried himself. Him no be Small pikin again abeg.
