But wait ooh, why have we left the risk to life that the soldier has portended on the road and are focusing on Sanwo calling the soldier "useless"?

As much as I may not be on the same page with Sanwo politically, he stopped an erring soldier from puttng civilians at risk. Or have we forgotten how our soldiers treat civilians? The same soldiers that tell you that you are a bastard!!

Come on folks

Being shot while on duty is not a license to lawlessness.
Signing up for the armed forces is not by force.

But the same Sanwo olu and almost all the Government officials in Nigeria drives one way.

Nobody should be above the law though.

I don't understand. Many people have given testimony on how the soldiers turned okada riders put the lives of people in danger on that road. They account of horrible accident caused by lawlessness.

A top ranking soldier with neither stated rank nor name.
What a joke.

That fool with U.N beret is probably a fake soldier.

Yes, he can still be arrested for that, but why the "useless" soldier? Is the gov saying the army is useless?

Don't tell me you don't know the difference between "useless soldier" and "useless army".

Where have you seen Sanwo Olu or any government officials driving against traffic?
You don't have to lie in order to win an argument.

Thats wat Nigerian army deserves. An English adage says '' too much familiarity brings contempt. This is wat is playing against d army

. They are gradually losing their respect and fear from d masses..and just like the policemen, its a matter of time before they too start to dey collect from civilians. They are just everywhere in d streets in their camos doing dirty jobs.

Dont be surprised if u see civilians beating up a soldier this year.

Respect is earned.

Respect is earned!

Respect is earned!!

Evidently, you see nothing wrong with civilians living in fear of soldiers who are being paid with taxpayer money. That's not the way its supposed to work. There are millions of law abiding Nigerians who go about their business each day - they go to work and the market, they come back home and attend to their families etc. They are not criminals and they are not insurgents or enemy forces. So these regular upstanding citizens are supposed to 'fear' undecided Nigerian soldiers in obedience to some unnatural law that exists only in Nigeria? That makes no sense.
