Maduka University resumes academic activities. says admission is still ongoing.

Maduka University Enugu has announced that academic activities for pioneer students will commence this week after the brief 2-week break.

This comes in the wake of the admission announcement made in October 2023, signalling the commencement of the 2023–2024 academic session.


Recognised and approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC), Maduka University offers diverse programmes.

The management announced that pioneer students will start academic activities on the specified date, urging all qualified students who completed registration to resume promptly.

While reiterating a zero-tolerance policy for cultism and other social vices, the management encouraged new students to embrace the institution's ethos encapsulated in its slogan, 'knowledge, self-reliance, and service.'

Despite the academic year already underway, Maduka University announced that admission is still open for prospective students.

Interested candidates can initiate the application process through the official Maduka University website at www.madukauniversity.edu.ng.

The admission form is available for download, and applicants can also request it via email. Alternatively, an online application can be submitted through the user-friendly portal at https://admissions.madukauniversity.edu.ng/.

Eligibility criteria for admission require candidates to have scored above 140 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or applied for the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) for the 2023–2024 academic session.

Maduka University offers programmes across various schools with corresponding fees for the 2023–2024 academic session:

School of Business and Social Sciences:

Accounting: ₦338,000
Economics: ₦338,000
Mass Communication: ₦338,000
International Relations: ₦338,000
Transport Management: ₦338,000
SCHOOL OF COMPUTING:

Information Technology: ₦378,000
Computer Science: ₦378,000
Cybersecurity: ₦378,000
Software Engineering: ₦378,000
SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING:

Civil Engineering: ₦378,000
Electrical and Electronics Engineering: ₦378,000
Mechanical Engineering: ₦378,000
Mechatronics Engineering: ₦378,000
Computer Engineering: ₦378,000
SCHOOL OF HEALTH SCIENCES:

Physiotherapy: ₦378,000
Medical Laboratory Science: ₦378,000
Nursing Science: ₦588,000
Pharmacy: ₦588,000
SCHOOL OF LAW:

LAW: ₦588,000
These fees are annual and cover the entire session. Maduka University also offers a pre-degree programme at ₦300,000 for prospective students who did not take the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Additionally, accommodation charges for the 2023–2024 academic session amount to ₦105,000.

Kind of affordable for a Private uni,though they are get to make a name for themselves,but it's fair only of you know how things are going for a session.

Almost every time this school is advertised, it's either just the gate that is shown or drone pictures. Who is scared of actually snapping the school building itself, classrooms and labs?

Ordinary secondary schools do so when they want to advertise, even if some of them package it for the picture, how much more a private university?

NUC tell una say if una show us una classrooms and labs, them go collect una licence?

When I am fully prepared I would give back to the coming generation through lecturing in the faculty of agriculture and if not yet established, would be a pioneer in that faculty. Anyways I congratulate the pioneering students of this institution.



Anyway, Agriculture is life.

I was there on 2nd January, 2024. It is a great citadel of learning with good facilities.
