When you think that the political crisis rocking Rivers State is over, you may be far away from the truth!
Below are the portfolios of people who wike had arranged to work with or to be on the guard on his successor Fubara:

1. Deputy Governor; Ikwerre woman
2. Speaker House of Assembly: Ikwerre man
3. Chief of Staff to the Governor; Ikwerre man
4. Chairman Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers; Ikwerre man
5. Mayor of Port Harcourt; Ikwerre man
6. State Chief Judge; Ikwerre man
7. Chairman Ikwerre LGA; Ikwerre man
8. Chairman Port Harcourt LGA; Ikwerre man
9. Chairman Emuoha LGA; Ikwerre man
10. Chairman Obio/Akpor LGA; Ikwerre man
11. Chairman GDI; Ikwerre man
12. President NYCN Rivers Chapter; Ikwerre youth
13. Senator, Rivers East; Ikwerre man
14. All the LGA's Chairmen, you must have at least one link or the other with Ikwerre ethnicity of Rivers State before you can rule your LGA.
15. Clark of the House of Assembly; Ikwerre man

Distinguished ladies and gentlemen as a governor, you have these kind of people surrounding you how will you breathe? Or how would you rule comfortably? Is this how our democracy supposed to be? Is it only the Ikwerres supposed to occupy these highly exalted offices in Rivers State? Is Wike a democrat? Only time will tell!

Sometimes some of us blame the governor for being nervous or quiet in the whole saga; this is the reason! To the extent that, when the goings were good between the duo, before the governor receives any visitor to the government house, he must notify wike in Abuja.

Any opinion that can help the governor out of this quagmire is welcomed!
Thank you all!

Abeg stop lying. Deputy Governor is not from Ikwerre. She's from Ogba.
Senator, Rivers EAST IS Etcheman.

And the most important of those positions is Governor. Leave matter for Matthias.

The problem with most of these ethnic groups is a particular attraction for the name of ttheir ethnicity. They can easily collapse themselves into 1 big strong ethnic group but they'd rather answer their village names. I have coined a name for them, "Ikwerroid" grin

Those claiming to be Ijaw in River state are linguistically as diverse as Italian and German. But they have now found a common umbrella as Ijaw. But the Ikwerroids are waiting for adversity to befall them before they can become one people, even when they have common ancestry.

That said, the overwhelming majority of the population of Rivers are with the Ikwerroid uplanders.

you people are the ones giving Wike god status he doesn't even have anyways, I hope your darling Wike is reading the temperature in Tinubu's bedroom this one that baba is on a sacking spree. I warned earlier that Tinubu does not need unnecessary drama this period especially after that court case, maybe Wike and co thought this administration will be a continuation of Buhari's anything goes junta but just look at how he dropped Betta Edu like hot eba, Tunji Ojo summoned and might be forced to resign or sacked. Even if you're my best friend, if you keep putting sand in my garri, I won't hesitate to cut you off and as it stands now, Fubara as a sitting governor is more useful to Tinubu than that Abuja blabbermouth. even the GDI Wike is using to make mouth under structure, how far ? He abandoned them for years even as governor especially after getting second tenure. You'll see a GDI coordinator begging for 5k to sort bills meanwhile, oga is in Abuja cooking for Gbaja while singing and dancing. To be honest, Wike's only structure today is Nairaland agbado miscreans and one or two Ikwerre boys based in Abuja, nothing gum am here for Ph again

As far as am concerned, looking at Fubara, he is a gentle man to the core a man that I believe have one level of decency in him.
For years, the Ikweres have being in the control, for Wike as mad as he is, to choose Fubara, there must be some qualities he saw in that man, just like Obasanjo picked Jonathan over Odili, am very sure it's his Ijaw kinsmen just as they decieved Jonathan and asked him to ditch Obasanjo he had it being Jonathan worked to some extent under his tuteledge, what happened to him wouldn't had happened, it was the likes of Edwin clark and the Fat pig telling him to ask baba to go to hell and the rest is history... Despite the Numerical strenght and the high voting population of the Ijaws like one fellow is used to brag about here, Jonathan lost, even the Ijaws gave him more votes than the entire south East according to the same fellow, yet he lost.
Now the same is repeating itself in Rivers, the same bunch of decievers who think they have all of a sudden gained prominence in today's politics wants to decieve this young fine and easy going Ijaw son that I love so much against his boss.

My advice to bros Fubi is to calm down, make amends with his boss, it's never too late, don't listern to the Minority that call themselves majority, bend low for now, achieve what you want then you can build your stand from your second tenure, it's too early to fight a boss who has shown some l bel of political sagacity, just play along and get what you want latter.

Ok, I coined the name myself to illustrate my point. A suitable name that encompasses all of us and is readily acceptable to all can be coined.

First, they need to see reason why they have to pull themselves together as one and stave off this seeming assault by Ijaws on the uplanders. In the face of this adversity, clinging to localised identity is most trivial.

You seriously sound like an Igbo who has a grouse with Ikwerres.

The point you are raising is valid, let all of you come under the one Umbrella which already the Hausas, the Yorubas and the Ijaws know the Umbrella you all originally are known for, it's only when the chips are down they will call you that name and treat you as one, but it's unfortunate you people are not seeing it
