The contribution company should be sack. And the contract retrieved
Do you sack people who pray to Jehovah or Allah their god before starting their work for the day? So why do you want to sack these people for praying and sacrificing to their god before starting their work?

Yes, only if you people and your political leaders would agree to start taking oath of office with Ogun, Sango, Amadioha before they assume office instead if the Quoran and the Bible.
If they do, I can bet with my life, public funds embezzlement will go to minus zero and then, the people can enjoy their money as there'd be more money to build good roads, hospitals and security situation will also abate. Education will get proper attention and no Allison Maduekwe and co would dare steal our common wealth.

But no, they'd rather hide behind your Abrahamic religion to perpetrate evils against the masses by swearing with the Bible or the Qur'an when they knew those ones won't be effective against them.
Who told you that Ogun, Amadioha etc are effective? They are all ineffective and unconscious as other gods like Jehovah, Allah etc. Forget all the nollywood films you're watching. No Sango, Amadioha, etc can manifest anything. They are all just false things human believe. When the whites colonised Nigeria where were they

Religious freedom is allowed as long as they don't step on other people's rights.

I endorse religious freedom.

Whether it is truth and the light - Jesus or Allah or you want carry out sacrifices, you are free with your white or black or red in broad day light.

Just obey the constitution, do so peaceful without disturbing anybody, without constituting any form of nuisance (littering etc) or doing anything illegal (being found with human parts..)

This ritual is to appease the Marine spirits in charge of that particular water body, it's a message they are sending to the powers that they recognize their authority over the waters, they are afraid if they don't carry out these sacrifices, the Marine powers may fight against whatever construction work is to be carried out, some of the consequences they believe may lead to loss of life for intruding into a territory without obtaining permission from the powers that be.
But they are doing this out of ignorance of the fact that these territories no longer belong to these criminal powers called Marine spirits, although it once belonged to them because they stole it from Adam, but Jesus Christ has redeemed the land from the dominion of these powers when he rose from the dead, he said all power in heaven, and on earth, and beneath the earth has been given to me, and he commanded us to go in his name and enforce this power over these criminal spirits, Jesus said in Colossians 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. "In it" meaning his death, burial, and resurrection, but ignorant people still believe and accord these spirits undue and undeserved recognition, because they don't know what Jesus has done for them, the implications behind this sacrifice is that blood is involved, which makes it a serious matter, because a blood covenant has been engaged between the contractors or whoever they represent and the demons, and the thing about blood covenant is that it must be renewed periodically otherwise there will be severe punishment from the spirits once you fail to keep to your side of the covenant, the spirits may go ahead to take life by causing accidents on that bridge that will result in the loss of lives in order to obtain blood, as it is, it is left for christians around there who know their rights in the Lord, to step on that bridge and nullify and break these useless covenants.

I am just curious what do you mean by "... Why they live long."?

Please can you give us the life expectancy then as compared to now?

I have heard people using this "live long" line without any concrete evidence to back it. At least if you do that will be of great help.

If you know you will know ,the construction companies know what they are doing ,there are many spirit around or inside rivers or sea that can disturb work. Many workers including engineers have died or disappeared inside bridges or roads . Many of such spirit have been conjured and captured inside bottles and taken away to their home countries. It is not fallacy but reality.
Leave them to do their work .

Curiosity was sparked when the construction company overseeing repairs on Third Mainland Bridge was recorded 'sacrificing' three rams before starting the repairs.

In the video, three lifeless rams were observed on the ground, their blood filling a container beneath their placed necks. Men, including a foreigner, were seen moving around during the sacrificial ritual.

This has prompted numerous questions, with some scrutinizing the necessity or significance of such a sacrifice before addressing a damaged section of the popular Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.

So, the question arises: Do you believe this is necessary? What are your thoughts on this matter? Feel free to share your opinions in the comment section.

Can you imagine? they are just fooling you. i bet it is the locals in those communities who demanded for those rams to appease the gods, and the Chinese people do not want wahala from the community, so they decided to yield to their demand. same thing always happens here in the Niger delta when companies are building pipeline, the villagers will just go and build one small shrine along the Right of way of the pipeline and when the company approach that they want to demolish the shrine so the pipeline can pass the villager hustlers will demand for alot of money to appease the gods before the shrine can be demolished. in our case here they collect millions in Naira, but now for Yorubas turn they are demanding for ordinary ram, they should go and learn work properly from the Niger delta people how it is been done to collect millions from these multinational companies.

But when a white man smashes champagne on the haul of a ship before it first sail, it's not superstition.

Right?
The tradition of smashing a bottle of champagne on a ship's hull during its launch is believed to have originated from ancient times when wine or other liquids were poured on the ground as a libation to the gods for good luck. The practice evolved into using a bottle of champagne to christen a new ship as a symbolic gesture to bring good fortune and safe passage to the vessel and its crew. It's also considered a ceremonial way to mark the beginning of a ship's life at sea.
