Great development.

But Nigerians are Nigeria's problem. I hope we don't sabotage it ourselves and go round to blame the government.

The custom's auctions have been hijacked by fraudsters that no one believed any genuine custom's auction again.

Nothing new here.
What happened to the previous digital online platform.
Bros na naija we de.

If they like, let them make it ai auction system; no ordinary Nigerian can get any of those cars. They share them among themselves and their families. Nigeria is so despicable for its corruption. Wasting government money to build automated systems they won't allow to function.

The Nigerian Customs Service has revealed that as part of efforts to boost transparency in its auctioning process, it will be launching an electronic platform to accommodate applications from interested Nigerians.

The Comptroller General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi stated this yesterday in Abuja at a press conference on the Service 2023 Performance and Forecast for 2024.

According to him, β€œIn the upcoming week, the NCS is set to inaugurate an electronic auction (e-auction) platform, strategically designed to enhance transparency in the auction process. These collective actions signify NCS’s dedication to enhancing staff welfare and sustaining optimal performance,” he said.

I don't care about their e whatever, they should just review the import duty, it is very crazy. Clearing agencies are closing their offices, an average nigerian cant buy tokumbo vehicle again.
