Nevertheless, In spite of his Godly nature, he loves mankind with an everlasting love even though the nature of man do not merit or deserve it. "The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: 'I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.'" (Jeremiah 31:3, NIV)

Ever since man rebelled in the beginning, he sent prophets, kings, judges, angels and several others to bring back man to him but very unfortunately, we did not heed his call. Some of mankind even decided to harm those who God raised and sent to them which demonstrated the hatred man has for God and the things of God even though they claim to love him. Sin became the second nature of man ever since the fall and most people tend to nurse it everyday hardly considering the divine love of God, his faithfulness or the consequences of their actions.

After the fall, God immediately promised himself to bring us back to him and brought about several prophets, kings, saviours and angels but it was never enough as most of mankind perished in their sins.

Finally, he came down himself. He came in a humble way leaving his godly appearance, his throne, honour and joy. He took the nature of a servant. Less attractive, filled with grief and sorrows. He came to his own but they didn't receive him. Man whom he created persecuted and despised him because he was different and proclaimed their ways as bad, dark and evil, urging them to their repentance. "He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him." (John 1:10-11, NIV).

He was by very nature God but didn't consider himself equal with God, something to be used to his own advantage. He was an obedient and humble servant till death. He is JESUS CHRIST, the son and lamb of God - the ultimate saviour of all mankind from sin and death.

"He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem." (Isaiah 53:2-3, NIV).

Even in today's world, Jesus is so hated that anyone who represents him immeadiately becomes an outcast amd villified amongst men. The world doesn't want to talk about or accept Jesus but there is no other way to God or heaven except through him. This demonstration of apathy towards God is deeply rooted in the wickedness of man and their love for pleasure, self and the ungodly world. The excruciating punishment and mockery meted to Jesus in his vicarious death proved how much man is willing to go in hurting that which is holy.

However, to the glory of God, the blood of Jesus shed on the cross for the sake of mankind is more than able to not just forgive a man his sins but to also free him from the bondage of sin enabling him to find it easier to live a holy and acceptable life to God here on earth but some believers do not have faith in this. "How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!" (Hebrews 9:14, NIV).

They believe no one can live a holy life before God which is a lie from the devil. It is by faith in Christ a man is saved not by works. This is the perfection of God. When a man turns away from his sins willingly and repents confessing them to Jesus and walks carefully in the Sprit, the Lord will gradually cut off the chains of iniquity that binds him in order for him to stand in holiness but most believers do not have the patience or motivation to walk in the Spirit because of the affairs of this world and the grarification of self. For this reason, there will be judgement. The judgement of God for anyone who refuses the Lord Jesus Christ - the lake of fire and burning sulphur.

"Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son." (John 3:18, NIV).

The vicarious death of Jesus is a sign of God's love and grace towards mankind. Nothing had ever seperated Jesus from God except our sins when he paid for it on the cross. God was propelled to punish Jesus for our own sins while we were still sinners and didn't want to know or accept him just for us to not perish but gain eternal life with him. Jesus didn't die for any other creatue except mankind. He was forsaken by God while he was punished for the both of us and all around us because of God's steadfast love. What do you think will happen to all those who reject Christ?

A thing we need to understand about God is that he is forever holy and will always punish sin. He will surely punish all kinds of sin which is presented before him. That was why Jesus took our position on the cross by the will of God to free us from eternal judgement and condemnation from God. A sacrifice had to be made to save us from God's wrath and Jesus drank the cup fully thereby completing the sacrifice for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD.

Every man is bought by the blood of Jesus but it will only save him when he is willing to repent and forsake his sinful nature - to stop playing in the vomit, clean himself up and take the hand of Jesus who will lead him to the Heavenly Father.

If any man fails to repent and walk in holiness before death, he will be lost forever in the flames of fire - the justice of sin and there won't be any excuses or exchange to give as nothing besides the blood of Jesus can save a soul from death. This is the way to eternal life, the way of escape from the coming wrath.

The sins you think you can't drop now will irritate you if you practice the truth which has been revealed to you. Don't give up on your faith, God still loves you and is with you but won't be there for you when you're done here and turn out a sinner.

There are testimonies of people far worse than you who have been saved and free from fornication, masturbation, gambling, gluttony, covetousness, sensuality, malice, pride and all sorts of sin cages. You only need to have faith in God, repent of your sins and avoid them, then leave the rest for God. It is God who makes a man perfect, your willpower is nothing.
