Tinubu didn't form ad but real ad of 1999 rebranded to ac in 2007 after tinubu took over the leadership of the party being the only governor that survived obasanjo and pdp onslaught on AD governors in 2003.
Then AC rebranded to acn in 2011 before the final merger to become apc in 2013/2014.

The current AD you have now is not 1999 AD.
