The response to the unfortunate Kaduna incident was due to the fact the Nigerian Army bombed innocent victims. The Ibadan case was not caused by Nigerian Security.

Lagos has always been the choice of British even before the invention of Nigeria.
It's courtesy of the agricultural resources gotten from Northern yoruba states.
The ijebu kingdom flourish from Taxing merchant going to sell their goods in Lagos.

Even slaves were transported in badagry and Lagos Island when both places were not yet Lagos state.

It is the economic preference of Lagos that made Nigeria use her as the capital, the British used taxes from agricultural produce sold by merchant in the state to develop the state.
