It is now anticipated that Infinix will launch an Android smartphone in 2024 that will feature a screen nearly the same size as the latest Samsung super-flagship, charge as quickly as the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and be available to a whole new spectrum of customers with different specs like an outdated 4G/LTE-only SoC.

The possibility would have been considerably more intriguing if the OEM hadn't taken the same action in 2023, though it's possible that the Note 40 and 40 Pro can still be distinguished from their predecessors.

The Infinix Note 30's concept is quite straight forward: take some of the key features of the most expensive android smartphones of 2023, like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, which has a large punch-holed display measuring approximately 6.8 inches with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 45W wired charging, and a "mega" 5000mAh battery included.

Then, in order to be significantly more affordable, make concessions like using an IPS screen with FHD+ resolution, 8GB of RAM, and an exceptionally well-worn processor.

It appears that the formula is now so successful that the OEM will reuse it in the next Note 40. It appears to be the Infinix X6853 with an additional FHD+ panel, powered by a 2-2.2 GHz SoC and a 1,068MHz ARM Mali-G57 GPU, as seen on the Google Play Console.

Additionally, the FCC has registered the X6853, confirming that 45W charging is still supported and that 5G is not present.

However, based on these early leaks, it does seem to have been updated to android 14 and has triple back cameras.

An Infinix Note 40 Pro (or Infinix X6850) is also anticipated to join the Note 40 in 2024.
