SUPREME COURT AFFIRMS FUBARA AS ELECTED GOVERNOR OF RIVERS STATE The Supreme Court of Nigeria has affirmed that governor Siminalayi Fubara was the duly elected, and winner of the 18 March 2023 gubernatorial election in Rivers State. On Thursday, a five-member panel of the Apex court, led by Justice Uwani Abba-Aji, dismissed the appeal filed by Tonye Cole, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for lack of merit.
