Born and bred in Lagos Oga. Not every criticism is born out of tribal sentiments.

That doesn't mean sh1t. Take your fantastic advice to your state of origin and implement it there.

Everyone is an advice on Lagos matters while your Governors steal you blind

Wherever there's fire in Lagos state especially in that Idumota - Ebute Ero axis or any other market for that matter, the Lagos state government is behind it 100%. It's their tested and tried eviction method.

No matter the underlying reason, this is a good move. Lagos has the potential to be a tourist destination and generate revenue as such. But it needs to modernize and clean up.

Always a knee jerk reaction by governments in Nigeria!!

How is this knee jerk? shanties have plagued Lagos and other Nigeria cities, nearly since independence. 50 years of unmanageable, runaway shanty sprawl! At one point, Lagos was so full of Shanty it might have been easier to view Lagos as a Shanty City with pockets of commercial and urban infrastructure instead of a commercial and urban area with pockets of shanty places.

No action against Shanty by Nigeria authorities is too soon or hurried.

Virgin lands full South East despite the region being very tiny.. all of them want to live in Lagos (their London).
LASG should demolish everything around that Mandilas axis, let them relocate to East with space . Enough of overcrowding in Lagos State.

Even if they ‘start thinking home’, they should not bring this haphazard style of development, where structural and building regulations are utterly disregarded all in the name of building shops. This’s a modern era, and as a governor in any Eastern states, l will also demolish any unplanned layout, detachment or building causing any form of chaotic urbanization
