JAMB shouldn't be a revenue generating agency for crying out loud. Is the number of admitted students commensurate to even half the amount generated annually? Government is feasting on the poor masses.

All what you people are thinking is how much they make. The way them take got it not una concern. Imagine a body control by federal government has increase fees for registration. How would the parents coup with the harsh economic crises? People are suffering in country.

Now,the question is this- why are other Federal Govt Institutions( MIDAS) Not making good returns,on yearly basis e .g.- the NNPC,the DISCOS,the NAFDAC,the FERMA( Road Maintainance),etc?
1•- the first impression is to tell us( we Nigerians) they are doing their Best-which is never true because,ALL of these Agencies have created Bublé Traps - for Stealing our Resources - through Annual -Budgets.
2• Did you ever see any of these Agencies - Including the States Own),ever returned Any Money Unspent- back to the Govt?
3• Another impression- is to tell Nigerians- oh,we are not meant to be an Agency making Money because we are for this,for that,etc- Not so true,as those Civil Servants- have upgraded their Corruption Scales -by Sharing the Funds everywhere- so,as to involve, even the most Righteous-Nigerians,so that everyone is involved, including- the Local govt,the Traditional Rulers,the Religious Ruler,etc. e g.What Killed the Nigerian Airways,if not Corruption?
- What destroyed the NITEL,e g MTel,yet the MTN,the Glo and Airtel,etc Succeeded?
-Why is it that Nigeria Air could Not Fly and Ethiopia Airlines( are making Returns,as the most viable Institution to the Country?
•So,if we are to ask Professor Oloyede- of JAMB to lead us to put all these Money guzzling Agencies Back to Profitability- can we ask him to charge his Professional Fees,so that he and his Crew can set the Standards- without Compromise in the Govt-Circles?
•But the problem is that he is a Civil -Servants, different from others Civil Servants of the Govt!
WouldOther Civil -Servants allowed the New Process and Procedures to Work- because some People in Govt-( both State and Federal) are Used to Corruption and Compromised in doing the Work they were Originally Employed to do,due to greed, Lack of Patrotism!
• What the JAMB- Registrar have done is to:
- set the Standard of getting a Business to Succeed.
- Entrone Discipline ( Financial Discipline) and
- Blocks all loopholes of Fraudulent Manipulations and devices a long term Measures of Returns on Govt Institutions like JAMB- whare Snake was once Swallowing Money- killed the Snake and return the Money!

Wasn't it last year JAMB rescheduled UTME for students that were victims of technical issues during the exam. It is a great thing to have integrity and generate large revenue for FG but it would be excellent overall if the exam processes increased in efficiency to at least 98%.

If all Nigerian leaders could be as selfless as this prof. Things would have been better. Institutions of government like firs and ncs should take a cue from this individual. Leadership has always been the problem of this country, no matter how corrupt the system is, with a disciplined and unbending character of integrity in leadership things will take shape. Kudos to the Proffessor and may his stride be emulated in all sector of our institutions for a better Nigeria.

All this nonsense JAMB made 50 or 100 billions naira should be stopped, is JAMB established for the purpose of making money to government covers? If nnpc or cbn is running at a loss, is it jamb that suppose to make money? This is the reason why Nigerians are poor. The body has become an agent of extortion and hardship. Anything Nigeria students want from them are obtained under heavy burden for the parents. Can you imagine an online examination papers costing each candidate 7200 naira for 4 subjects. Apart from this, all other services under them are also too cost e g. change of course is 3500 naira, change of name 5000 naira, printing of original result and admission letter 1500 naira each. These charges may be small in their eyes because they want to make money that nnpc cannot make for the government, poor parents are going through their nose before they can afford these charges. Out of this money from poor parents, the vice president who is announcing it is going to benefit 15 billion naira to build a house for him in Abuja. Let all appeal to jamb to let the cost of form be 2500 naira and other charges be free, and firs, nnpc, cbn, npa and other income generating establishment continue their work delivery.

Prof Salim, is a person that feel for people, during his time nearly everything was cheap in JAMB, so that is why he did not pay billions to government purse. After all, the money will even be embezzled by someone else. What is then is the celebration of paying billions of naira into government account.

Exactly my thought. Some students write and pass yet can't secure admission due to available space in the universities. Thus keep rewriting JAMB year in year out.
