Gbam.
If you take yourself for example and consider how many litres of fuel you consume daily to power the generators in your home and business(let's say 15litres conservatively), and multiply that number by at least 10 million generators in all of Nigeria, and then multiply that sum by 365 days.
Now, if also consider that each litre of imported fuel is subsidized by the government, the numbers become mind-blowing.
If you also consider that we have been living on subsidized fuel since the Abacha Era, then you can see the insanity.
We have spent enough subsidizing generators over the last 30yrs that we could have used to build power stations in every local government in Nigeria- the key to industrialization and employment creation.
