The coach embarrassed Nigeria with his defensive tactic because it made Nigeria look stupid, and totally outclassed. Ivory Coast goal keeper was hardly tested.

Iwobi was irritating.

It's understandable to defend a 1 goal lead. But 1-1? Still packing the bus and using 5 man defense?

Poor midfield and starving the attackers.

A final like this should have been confrontational from start to finish. Every single thing done or undone affected the final result.
Not like we could defend, as our wingback was sloppy. We were always going to concede by entertaining those crosses.

The coach should try and watch Super Eagles of 94 & 98 set see how we play football. Team that even top team in Europe and South America cannot overwhelm.

Sack the coach and all the players. Leave only Lookman, Osimhen, Ekon and Bassey. The rest are overrated players.

Peseiro tactics failed him really bad in the most important match, he was trying to use mourinhos full tactics forgetting himself

Don't mind him, the tactic has been outdated. Reason why mourinho is no longer excelling at any club he goes to now because most coaches know how to unlock it these days. The style usually fail under intense pressure. Ask athletico Madrid how many times it has failed them. A good coach should find ways to balance defence and attack. See what Pep is doing at mancity.

Thank you. That's my anger too.

Playing defensive football more than 45 minutes wasn't sustainable at all.

O please spare me that religious bullcrap capping undecided. Everyone was confident that Nigeria is the better team. Team we beat by a goal to Nil in group stage and was trashed 4-0 by Guinea Bissau. Same Ivory coast that was the last 3rd place team to be considered for qualification with just 3 points and -3 goal difference.

Please spare me bro, they were lucky to have gone that far. A team that kept 4 clean sheet was lucky? Mstcheew abeg u no get talk

Ok, kiss your wonderful team.

Please, give us your skilful eleven from among those your players. Let's see how good they are.

Face reality,, my friend and jettison that wrong religious mind wey dey always expect miracles.

Go and rewatch that match. In what way did the eagles perform better than the Ivorians?
