Welcome to Africa where the youths are the leaders of the tomorrow that never comes.

The most painful part is that many youths fought, voted and rigged for this ancestor. Those youths will tell you that what they need is the man's brain, not his body.
Betta Edu nor be Youth abi Yahaya Bello nor be Youth.

Take a chill pill, the youth aren't better.

Fearurcreeator:

The one wey be minister wey never reach 8months wey don dey steal no be youth or no be leader too

No mind am. The same youths, majority of whom are preoccupied with drug abuse, sexual explorations, and glorification of crime and yahoo yahoo, calling it "smartness". At SUG level, they steal money from the union purse with reckless abandon, exploit traders on campus by not paying for goods bought and use their statuses to manipulate naive and desperate female students for sex. Ordinary NYSC, runs abounds from relocation runs to unauthorized absence from service; even CDS excos steal money and grants meant for all Corp members. So wtf is the shout about giving youth a chance? Age doesn't mean you will be competent or sensible or honest. It's a question of character, competence and will!!!

it's such a sad situation
I think we realy need to look critically at that statement "youth are the leaders of tomorrow" what capacity has the youth showed that they have what it takes? Can they be trusted to make far better decisions than these old guyz? The only industries we have youth performing are in musics n sport.... Take agriculture, and other key development indicators, the old guyz are stil the ones spareheading things.
So it beyond that mere sentimental statement.... The youth have got to show capacity....

Gerontocrats holding the youths to ransom, worldwide.

Even the U.S. isn't exempted.

Old archaic men who should be confined to senior homes ruining the future with their obsolete ideas.

It's either tinubu is seriously lying about his age,or drugs really messed him up.

Wole Soyinka will be 88 years this year. Olusegun Obasanjo will be 86 years this year. Pastor Enoch Adeboye will be 86 years this year. Is Tinubu older than all these people? These are people that have known Tinubu as far younger than them for several decades.

Youths have shown capacity to use national treasury to buy Ferrari, Buggatti and other fast cars like Dino Melaye. Others have shown capacity to do drugs and alcohol

Presidency doesn’t need old men, to lead a country you must be physically fit to supervise and investigate projects running in the country, you cannot just seat in the office and be sharing money

We are actually not designed for democracy in Africa. We are best suited for monarchical system as we adore “hero worship.”
