Joe Biden is 81 years old. Donald Trump is 77. Let us remove 'slave mentality'.

An 82-year-old Namibian president will give him hope that being 81 in 2027 wont be too bad for another shot at the presidency.

Africans and choosing old, infirm leaders

If not for Nigerian constitution, maybe Obasanjo would have remained Nigeria's president till now

Do you mean that if not for Atiku’s leadership of the forces against Obasanjo’s 3rd term agenda

I must comment on the hypocrisy of our government (world government) on this “struggle for democracy” thingy.

Like, da fvck do democracy help?

Has it helped its proponent?

Why continue struggling to achieve what isn’t achievable? Except for the fact that it benefit you the government, and not the masses.

Can you please explain how military dictatorship helps the masses more than civilian democracy

Welcome to Africa where the youths are the leaders of the tomorrow that never comes. Many youths are not even helping matters. Look at Betta Edu.

The most painful part is that many youths fought, voted and rigged for this ancestor. Those youths will tell you that what they need is the man's brain, not his body.

Experience has shown that Youths don't have the magic wand
Nothing beats experience.
Okay let's look at the places youths lead
Canada..... Is Justin really doing a good job?
France...... Can you say Macron is super man
UK....... Rishi is muddling things up and won't survive the next election

But then the USA in the past 8 years (after the youthful Obama) has been ruled by 80year old....and one of them is likely to rule for the next four years .

What I will advocate is an Old man (with experience both locally and internationally) to be president but have a cabinet made up of mainly young professionals.

Under the Namibian constitution elections will be held within 90 days after the death of a President

Fear not, a younger President will emerge

The leading party's candidate is a septuagenarian.

Your prez ain't got the energy to ride nada, not to talk of breaking anything. He is an old cargo, always running to France to refuel.

Africa is pretty much the same, there's nothing you can tell me that will change my mind on that.

Nigeria, Uganda, Zimbabwe, B/Faso, Mali, Angola etc save for the northerner part, Libya, Sudan are not anywhere better.

Atiku's contribution was selfish, and not for any democratic passion. He just wanted to become the next presido, to which Obasanjo finally frustrated.

It was because of the size of the country, IBB or OBJ would have perpetuated themselves in power

Anyone can manipulate constitution but it is difficult to manipulate everyone if the country is big.

The youth today will become leaders tomorrow when they too are old. How is this too much to grab?
Leadership is not about age but about good governance. If the institutions are working, any age bracket can deliver. What is killing Africa is western neo-colonialism anchored by selfish locals.

I have said this before, Dude it is plain stupidity for you guys to keep comparing US with Africa all the time.

Oga America is by far more developed even though they have old men as their president, compare to your Africa that remains a backward shithole instead of having vibrant minds and young adults to fix your shithole Una go dey compare unaselves with America that has since been developed

Millitary dictatorship is not the only other form of government. There are many form of government, if one doesn’t work, you study the people and switch to what will work if you truly care about the people.

Dictatorship is not the only other form of government apart from democracy.

Any reason why you failed to mention the other forms of government apart from democracy and dictatorship
