If he was spending 1000 daily on transportation, with the train it can be reduced to 750. The remaining 250 can be used for more food on his table!!
What if the train is 1500?
Besides, what can 250 buy now

Someone is actually asking how will this put food on the table.

As if the construction will not provide jobs for lots of construction workers, as if the train drivers, conductors, Cowrie Card sellers, etc are not human beings, as if it won't provide faster travel for workers so that they'll be at their jobs on time!

Politics makes people say very weird things.

Use the blue line as a real life example it cut their transportation cost by half.

Sanwolu or Tinubu were not in control of the Nigeria police or army so carry your foolish hate away from this thread.

This is the legacy n vision of Tinubu, I can understand this fact will auto kill many haters of Tinubu but the truth his the truth

Oga go back to Lagos history and know the truth, all this had been design way back in governor Jakandes time.

It is your darling daddy sai Buhari that stopped it when he takes power under military rule.

Nothing about Tinubu about this one.

Kudos to Sanwolu for following it up sha.

Is Red Line running through bush paths? How will herdsmen hijack a train that is running between Ido (for now) and Agbado?

Good you don’t comment at all.

Hmmm... The Lagos rail project has been in the pipeline for decades.

Alex just got there few months ago and he has more pressing needs to attend to not train. That can come much more later.

More pressing needs like employing workers to do road maintenance, teach children in free schools, improve water access, increase government health care access etc

Other governors should replicate this in their respective States.

Replicate light rail irrespective of the size of the capital city and its population density

Look around you. There are opportunities.

Where I usually hang out in Lagos Island, A young lady usually come around to beg. People do give her money. But I don't,. One day I decided to ask her some questions. She is somewhat educated.
I told her, why not venture in business instead of looking for a job and begging. I asked her, what can she do, she said, cooking. Cut long story short,. I gave her some money and other cooking items That was how she started selling Tuwo at night in Lagos island. And she is doing great.

Red and Blue line routes.

Well done Lagos State.

Other states should learn from the Lagos State Redline and develop state transport systems against the existing NRC railway network, by building local stations against the national rail infrastructures to support their state rail system.
