Are they blind? If anything bad happens to them they’ll blame the government or the devil.

Lol

Why does the average Nigeria believe that you must block the road to sell foodstuffs.

Seriously, all this is due to modernization

In the olden days we have market days

No one needs to block road.

Just anticipate that date and meet at the market square.

Well, man must survive
Govt can not even give them anything

Govt will ban anything
But to improve life they will ban the eyes from seeing.

The state government won't take proactive measures to curtail this now. When the unfortunate happens, they will begin to setup investigating committees here and there.

Be informed that the local government issues tickets to these poor traders to sell their wares near the rail tracks.
The traders pay the local government daily taxes to be allowed to sell their wares in that location.

I remember Sanwo Olu going to Oshodi to speak to the traders and he warned them of the safety repercussions and why they had to evacuate...

Perhaps LASG needs to send a task force there.

You are still blaming government for this? If you don't tell your family members selling there to leave, the train will send them to the great beyond, and Yahoo Boys will harvest their organs for rituals. They cannot be useless while alive and also be useless in death

When they take proactive measures to curtail the potential for accident, some would still lament that they do not want the poor to breathe.

The government agencies like KAI should go there and flog all the animals there.

They should speak to them in the language they understand.

The Train drivers should reduce their speed to 5km per hour when passing there for public safety

The Railway company has failed to build barriers necessary to keep the Public out
