Hilarious, considering Lagos, Ogun, Osun and Kwara are amongst the states listed as being able to pay their workers, while not a single state from your region is. Who exactly is "ebi" supposed to "pa" again?
the way you guys reason is sometimes embarrassing, never expected from an adults, who ought to know the awkward system obtainable in Nigeria .
Okay, how many citizens are under the employment of your Nigeria and states governments ?
This your clueless government must provide enabling environment for the private citizens to engage in profitable private enterprises, by tackling these twin problems of insurgency and national insecurities, else no part of this nation will be free from hunger.
Industries are folding up, farmers are getting killed across the nation, yet some Nigerians still believe that , things are okay , just dey play, infact the real hunger is still doing press-up for Nigerians.

Allow those States to manage their resources let's see. Useless FG. All they do is grab state resources and run.
lol
Always complaining because of their laziness and short intelligence.
When you were left alone with your resources during regionalism, what did you do?
You were still backward.
Most of your ancestors then were running to Ibadan until Aguiyi Ironsi, out of jealousy brought decree 34 where everyone will give almost everything to the centre.
Just to stop the growth of those who know how to use their resources to grow themselves.

Ibadan didn't have ports, customs etc but it became the most developed place in Nigeria then and gave you most of what you use in Nigeria till date.

how many Nigeria citizens even depends on the wretched salaries of the Nigeria governments ?
#30.000 monthly minimum wage that cannot even take a good care of a normal living dog monthly.
Every year we hear budgets of trillions, billions, but how many citizens of Nigeria masses benefits from the yearly ritual ?
We only need a conducive environment to do our businesses, we don't depends on government to fight any hunger because the Nigeria governments only serve the interest of the political class alone.
it's amazing how the same suffering Nigeria masses are fighting for the defense of their heartless oppressors.

All I am saying is this centralized governance is not working.

It sincerely is not working. My head is just thinking about what the next minimum wage will be. Say 120,000 or more than that. How many states will have the resources to pay such? It is on record that some states are still struggling to pay the present 30,000 due to expire in March. Omo! We sincerely need those at the National Assembly to decentralize many powers in the Constitution. The problem of this country, apart from thieves looting our resources, is that 1999 Constitution.

Each State needs to have its minimum wage different from what the Fed pays.

See how some people are defending the president, but this same set of people would have attacked the president if he wasn't from their tribe. So it is our fault now that prices of everything has increased abi. Villagers and idiots everywhere. Instead of them to shut up and wait until the economy get better, they have now started blaming everyone else.

the article seem confused, because if u read very well Enugu was mentioned in the first place, then on the list it wasn't there. Rivers was also mentioned in both list of state that can sustain and state that spends more than their revenue.

Anambra or any states in the south east is not on the list of the viable states that can generate funds to pay salaries.

Now imagine Peter Obi being the president how do you think Nigeria would have been by now?

Everybody knows LAGOS is a cosmopolitan state. It has numerous non-yoruba residents in there too who can speak the language, so that statement, like the SOROSOKE WERE that became a symbol of the 2020 ENDSARS struggle, could've been spoken by anyone. At least, when the fastest fingers to burn up the OYINGBO TERMINAL was apprehended and arraigned in court, we all got to know the name he bears and from which region he came from. During the protest, he took opportunities in speaking the language to mix up with naive protester to perpetrate his political hatred for the state that harbour and provided for him while he needed better life.
Don't be surprised the voices might be on such pronouncement to score political points. And to add, why are you the lots so uncomfortable (reminding us at every giving opportunity that there's hunger in the land)while you insinuate that another region is the one feeling it?The much we both know, you hardly care about others (in fact, you blame others for everything), so if it's truly not you feeling it more, you would be quietly happy now. But if you think this statement would eventually win some sympathy votes for your candidate, then you're just fixing yourselves for another BIG disappointment and round of wails come 2027.

you are not getting my points , and you are totally wrong.
The number of Nigeria citizens that depends on Nigeria FG and states governments for their sustainance is very minimal when compared to the larger society.
Nobody is immune to the negative consequences of an irresponsible and clueless government as presently obtainable in Nigeria, because even the political class and the so-called nouveau riche of the society, that think they are protected from the ills of misrule are actually living in delusion.
allow the citizens to hold their leaders accountable, instead of dissipating your energy in defense of failed leadership.

If Nigeria splits up into by geopolitical zones, we now know those that will suffer. They don't even have one state from their zone on the list. What a very sad pity.
