President Thabo Mbeki of South Africa resigned in 2008.

President Jacob Zuma also of South Africa resigned in 2018.

If the entire North takes this protest seriously, the problem is that South won't stay United against them.

However, if it were the other way around, like during Endsars, Southerners won't ever speak with one voice.

Back then, they were United in dampening that protest and supporting their clueless uncle in office.
