The Nigeria Economy is in shambles, inflation is high, the Naira is on a free fall, no thanks to the President's twin decision of petroleum subsidy elimination and floating of the Naira.

Ordinarily, one would have loved to have subsidies back, but considering we've been down this road before, and the experience wasn't palatable; the corruption and resources wastage associated with Petroleum subsidy and forex management must continue to belong to the dustbin of history, we must move on, no matter what.

However, I understand we don't have problem with Naira liquidity like we have with dollar and other foreign currencies. Elimination of subsidies means the government now have more money to spend on the people, therefore, the government at all levels must do everything possible to help the poor and the vulnerable get through this hardship.

In all of these, I am only worried about the less privileged, not the greedy rich and middle class who want to get richer, nor the election sore losers and their cult - like followers who think their candidate alone has the right to be President, despite being a collosal failure in his previous time in public office.

Nigerians were subsidizing FG's power generation in the country by 100 MWatts of electricity from generators and as such FG has no right to pull the rug on immediate fuel subsidy removal without providing the alternatives.

The attendant cost of immediate subsidy removal is terrible for manufacturing, processing, and packaging companies including the cost of food transportation.

Suddenly zombies that have gone mute due to severe ebi npa wa ravaging their enclaves decided to do a lamentation and consolation dirge?

Does Tinubu have any viable economic policy before( Lagos case was just a debt burden during his stint) or it is the Hope-93 manifesto that is not in tandem with the economic realities of the 21st century that he criminally plagiarised?

So fuel subsidy was indeed an undesired economic evil that ought to be done away with? Yet the same Tinubu that the zombies are cheering on today vehemently kicked against the removal of same in 2012? You people are indeed wicked sophisticated idiots

Yes! Subsidy must go but what are the shock absorbing measures in place to cushion the effects. Free floating the naira is one of the most disastrous policy ever taken taken by the grab and snatch master.

One of the biggest lie of subsidy removal under this useless government is that subsidy removal makes resources available for the masses because everything about it is being embezzled by the wicked burgeoning class especially the criminals in government.

The current economic reality is a clear case. So being itchy and twitchy while being moved by white heroin is not political sagacity or sophistication.

have sense!

Subsidy is still being paid.

He messed everything up so bad, and what is more pathetic is at the end of the day, subsidy is still being paid on petrol. Why has LPG gone to 1300, and diesel also but petrol has remained unchanged for over 6 months?

In all your getting, get sense!

You are lucky because Nigeria is a crude oil producing nation if it wasn't I wonder what your argument will be but it is understandable you are Igbo so one can understand why you argue how you did.

The last paragraph is a very cogent point of the discuss. Only fools n lunatics will not want Nigeria to know that if Peter Obi who failed totally in every sphere of governance in Anambra was president Nigeria today will be worst off.

A good example is you telling Nigeria what economic policy as Tinubu administration taken that is not sensible or aim at uplifting the economy then we can go from there.

I don't know why some foolish Nigerians believe they can criticize anyone be they in government like Adeboye Soyinka etc but find it repulsive when an oloriburuku cursed bastard n criminal like Peter Pandora. Obi who looted his soul to death when he governed Anambra is criticized. Isn't that madness ?

It is only the myopic lazy minded citizens that expect an economical miracle overnight.

Even the Almijiris on the streets In Kebbi, jigawa, yola are expecting a miracle overnight.

Some oblivious minded things want to graduate from University with a Bsc in 1 year.

Obis supporters are all motion without movement. They don't have any viable alternative solution to current economic issues. They don't even understand the dynamics. They are only arm-chair illiterate critics. They see a nonachiever like Obi as hero when he has no legacy project for any to see. On the contrary the blue and red rail, Dangote refinery, Lekki deep sea port are all Tinubu's brainchildren that are today coming to light. Their hero, Obi, was in pampers when Tinubu was conceptualizing all those legacy projects which these same people claim were not possible. Today, they have been proved wrong. They would be proved wrong again.

OP subsidy is NOT gone. How do you think that a litre of petrol sells at about $1.00 yet you that is not refining is buying at N580?

It is like you see Fendi shirt online for $10 but in Nigeria it is selling for N5800 when $1 is N1470 Either the trader is mad or he is selling you a fake or better still he want to fold up.
