NIBBS is the issue, interbank is not going but intrabank is perfectly fine.
Re: All Bank Networks Are Down! by Achoghim: 11:22pm On Feb 10
The problem is likely with Nigeria inter-bank settlement system (NIBSS), the network that facilitates transactions across banks and other payment service providers in Nigeria. Intra bank transactions, like you did, may not need NIBSS

I did a successful Access Bank to Access Bank transfer not up to 5 minutes ago.
Re: All Bank Networks Are Down! by Salubata(m): 11:22pm On Feb 10
I'm not experiencing anything as such.

I did one transaction 3 hours back, I just do another one less than 20 minutes. Both on different bank
Prigidypogodo:
what's the situation on your own end.

uba not included

UBA is included. Probably an issue with the NIBSS.

what's happening?

All banks networks cannot be down.

If you say interbank transactions are down, I will understand because that transactions are being consumed via NIBBS endpoint.

So if NIBBS endpoint has issue, yes, interbank will not be successful.

But for intrabank transaction (those transaction that happens within the same bank), you do not need NIBBS endpoint for that transaction to happen. It happens within the bank's servers and it is not possible for all the banks in Nigeria to have technical issues at the same time within their servers.

So, op, your topic is misleading

Excess enjoyment is liable to end in a tragic format

Some of the gatekeepers of your financial system just died in a tragic manner, in their pursuit of unusual flex

I wish their souls as much rest as required (we really should shun every appearance of excess)
