We are already in a one-chance vehicle driving us to nowhere but a hidden to strip us naked. I cannot fathom what caused the unrealistic policy of Tinubu. He said fuel subsidy is gone without measures in place to cushion the effects. The majority of the masses are currently living in multidimensional poverty(MDP). The worst crisis is the food crisis. Farmers cannot dare to go to their farms due to the fear of bandits. We cannot travel from state to state due to the fear of kidnapping. The whole system has been messed up. The prices of every commodity are astronomical. Most homes can no longer have two meals square daily. The naira has been falling freely due to their poor policies. Family members will call for financial assistance but you can't help because you are struggling to make ends meet. It is high time we have one voice irrespective of political affiliation, tribe, religion, and class, and exonerate ourselves from their shackles through revolution. |

Anatolia: NO! Most Lagosian Yorubas actually voted for Peter Obi on that presidential election day because all the other 200+ Tribes Lagosians were voting for him (Obi). Other South westerners who knows Tinubu's 'Lord and Almajiris' style of leadership Did not vote for him. As for the North, lots of them voted Atiku and few for Obi as Tinubu is actually unknown to them. INEC and APC simply rigged the Election, Dat's why Mahmood stopped Electronic collation of results while he spent Millions on and announced the results at 2am. 1 Like |

iwaeda: Buhari met rice at 9k. It became 45k. But those bloody hypocrites from the North didn't make a sound. Every other peoples from the south blaming Tinubu are doing so because they think if they make enough noise, the military will plan a coup d'etat and put Hoebee there. Yinmu! 1 Like |

Goddyrichie: He spoke the truth. What you guys did to Yorubas after Hoebee's loss is an eye opener and that mistake will never repeat itself. It showed us that had Hoebee won, Yoruba support for him would have been rubbished and unappreciated. Yorubas would have been made objects of ridicule and enslaved by you people. Lagos would have been claimed with impunity, with backings from the federal government, same way Buhari had tried to handover the South to Fulanis. Gbarebo Rigour Vodes (🤪) would have been imposed on Lagos. IPOB would now have become the new kidnappers and terrorists who will launch Biafra takeover of the whole Southwest. We have learnt our lessons from you folks. 1 Like |

iwaeda:The Punch headline is pure sensationalism! There's NO where in this badly written article where anybody who was interviewed said a 50 Kg bag of rice costs N77,000 as indicated in that headline. N72,000 was the highest quoted from a woman for a N50 Kg bag of foreign rice in Anambra State. Even 50Kg bags of local Anambra rice is N49,000 in reality. This Punch publication is the result of BAD JOURNALISM tbh. Majorly, I discovered that it's in those so-called big cities that massive greed and rampant profiteering exists and this is where price control measures are needed to stop the nonsensical price increases by middlemen and hoarders and apply heavy punishments on them. In the many rice-producing areas of the North, 50 Kg bags of rice can be got from slightly less than N50,000. There are folks even here on NL who send money to trusted people or intermediaries in the North (or other rural farming communities) to bring rice for them in Lagos and other Southern cities at cheaper costs of NOT more than N52,000 (inclusive of transportation) so this hyperinflation in foods in the big cities in Nigeria is majorly ARTIFICIAL. True, PMS subsidy was removed and the USD to Naira exchange rates have spiked, but the BIGGEST threat to Nigeria from my intelligence gathering (and that of other sound minds) is the massive GREED that's inherent in a lot of Nigerians to cheat their fellow Nigerian citizens through rampant profiteering. Period. 2 Likes |

Goddyrichie: Tinubu is a human president. Not a magician. He cannot unravel 8years of misgovernance ( not to talk of the mistakes that GEJ made too) in one year. You people should be reasonable. He may be a self centered bastard but he means well for this country. Those goro chewing devils used the last months in power to set booby traps for him when it became apparent to them that he had outsmarted them. Now he is paying them back in their own coin and they are looking for ways to grind the country to a halt with protests. When we dis Endsars in 2020, did the North say anything? Did they not say that we were trying to topple Buhari's government? Did Buhari not order the killings of protesters? Now that their balls are in Tinubu's hands and he is squeezing hard, they are making noise. If you people like, keep making political miscarriages and miscalculations like you're known for. It's not Yorubas fault that you hate them and want to dominate them but they are not allowing you. |
