Oga professional website developer, It's precisely because it isn't "normal" to reject a bribe that the conduct of these officers in rejecting the chunky bribe is being celebrated.

This is a welcome development, they should be promoted and rewarded . this is not an easy task, it involves discipline, fear of God and commitment to duty. i salute the four giant police men for this good behavior.

If there is any iota of truth in this, I'll say their commander was the one who rejected it, his boys had to play along but deep in their mind they would have collected the bribe and ask for more. Quite evidenced by their facial expression.
