Muslim Muslim ticket in the mud
You Reap what you sow
This is a clear message to all the religous and tribal bigots. Bigotry doesn't develop a nation, competence does. I can imagine the sultan of sokoto saying they enjoyed Jonathan's government than they did Buhari's. Had Jonathan not been soft in some ways, he'd have been one of the heroes of democracy in Nigeria today. He messed up big time. He allowed these propagandist enter government and destroyed Nigeria.

They're even confused right now. None of their economic policies is working, despite selling crude at a good price per barrel. How the USD hit over 1,500 is still like a dream to me. We warned them when they said tinubu is the master planner of lagos. Someone who's the father of propaganda.

D problem is not about Muslim Muslim ticket. The problem is Tinubu is agenda less , corrupt and only interested is looting Nigeria out of existence.

He's not interested in one Nigeria before. He wants to loot and destroy everything so that there will be no Nigeria after him.

In a country as diverse as Nigeria Muslim Muslim ticket is a problem. I'm glad these clerics are getting f**ked by the same ticket they supported because of religion. You are spot on though, Tinubu deceived them all. His god is money and power and his only agenda is to loot and destroy Nigeria. Nothing more.

My only concern is that they weren't this vocal when their brother was in power.

The awakening taking place in Northern Nigeria is heart warming. Tinubu has succeeded in uniting the northern Christians and Muslims with bad Governance and mismanagement of the economy, they have now realised that bad leadership affects everyone irrespective of their faith.
Gone are the days when Northerners are deceived in the name of religion by their religious and political leaders and told to support candidates on religious grounds. Northern Muslims have become increasingly vocal about elections not being an Islamic principle but a manipulative concept that keeps them impoverished.

That is a hypocritical awakening (if truly there's one). They kept silent all through the mismanagement and profligacy of their son Buhari's 8 year tenure.
Emir Sanusi's repeated warnings (despite being a northerner) were relegated to the backwaters and regarded as the rantings of a disgruntled critic.
Y'all from the three regions of the lower Niger better understand how the game is played.... Stop cutting your nose to spite your face. Learn to protect your own by not hanging him out to dry irrespective of your hatred for him, his politics and your love for his opponent from the same south (your beloved). Don't set a precedence that'll come back to bite you in the arse. And if you think your misguided opposition to anything BAT will lead to a political crisis that will pave the way for the emergence of your rising sun utopia, you have another think coming.

As usual the discussions in Nigeria are filled with falsehoods.

I don't like/support Tinubu, but the truth must always be said. Tinubu did NOT remove fuel subsidy, Buhari did. The allowance for payment of fuel subsidy in the current budget was only till June. I am not saying Tinubu did not support and endorse the policy, but it was originally conceived and put in place by Buhari. Buhari knew Nigeria could not afford subsidy, but he was too much of a coward to do it while he was in office, so he set the subsidy removal to kick in when the next govt was in office so they would face the heat. Buhari was the WORST thing to ever happen to Nigeria.

The DSS is the attack dog of the presidency . Most Nigerian presidents use them to intimidate and harass their perceived opponents. Even to the point of flouting court orders . Nigeria doesn’t practice democracy. It is a government of the elite, by the elite and for the elite .
Re: DSS Quizzes Sheikh Auwal Shariff For Criticizing Tinubu Over Hardship by Angelfrost(m): 10:44am On Feb 13
In a Democracy?!!

Yet, they can't arrest and grill those financing Boko Haram and other terrorists.

This means DSS has now been fully relegated to serving as attack dogs of the Presidency and those in power to quell criticisms.

There is no awakening in d north,it’s just because Tinubu is not a northerner and they also don’t consider southern Muslims muslim enough.
The same Imam will start preaching that suffering is from Allah if Shittima becomes president tomorrow.

They are simply acting at the behest of their Northern elders who hate to see a Southerner in that office.

They did the exact same nonsense while Jonathan was in power.

Buhari was Million times worse and more clueless than Jonathan, yet they never coughed or United...!

You sound uninformed. If the current APC muslim-muslim candidates come up again in 2027, the northern and yoruba Muslims will still choose it above common sense.

If the president is a northerner, no Islamic cleric will attack him. Instead, they will say it.is the will of allah.

If you think stupid religion sentiment has left the north, then you should start reversing your thoughts.
