The number 1 problem of overheating engines is Leakey radiators.
The second is fan.

When the radiator leaks, the engine overheats and you have to be topping the water frequently.

It is not the overheating that makes the radiator take extra water. Rather, it is the leakage in the radiator that led to other things.

Try to flush your radiator and check its connecting pipes.
this clear enough. thanks Boss

Bro, sorry for ur troubles. First, start by cleaning ur engine. Dirt on the engine and the radiator causes overheating. Bring out the radiator and do a proper steam cleaning of the radiator. Get a 65 degrees or less thermostat. Once the temperature raises to 65 degrees, the thermostat opens and the water pump sends water from the radiator to cool ur engine down. Check ur water pump and if possible replace it. Also confirm that ur radiator fan is working effectively. Do all this and I don't see a reason why ur car engine should be overheating.
thanks for your input bro

the chances that your head gasket is gone is very high, you need a mechanic who is good at investigating a blown head gasket and also check for leaks within the cooling system
yes the mechanic I used confirmed the gasket is gone yesterday because I've to manage it to the workshop

I will change the gasket and check for leak as you said bro. thanks for your input

How is he to keep the engine clean? Is he the state and federal government that are to maintain roads

Or do u want him to be washing his engine daily or what. Anytime u wash engine, u run risk of water going into the wrong place, and ur car will develop massive fault

Engines are not built to be washed

It once happen to me..se its two things..your radiator is dirty..itis blocked with dust and sand.u will take it to mechanic..they will remove the radiator.n take it to car wash..the car wash will use that spraying gun to blow the inside with hard pressure spray of water..u will see sands n dirts there after fix it back.let d mechanic fix it back n u will pray for me..second..if u change ur fan.i mean if the fan stop working .then expect over heating..but if the fan is working..go n wash your radiator with that spraying gun pressure.
your advise is noted bro.

the fan was running when it overheated in the morning and I've to remove the pipe that run with the radiator and allow it to cool down before topping it water only to experience the same in the evening while the fan stop running

most of the times the fan run and it still do overheating, I've to follow your advise by washing the radiator

If the previous owner in America see it now, he go just die.

1. Check for leakages on the radiator.
I suggest you remove it and take it for a wash.

2. Is you fan working?! Get electrician to check the fan or change to double fan.

3. You must change that gasket too.
thanks bro

I advise you change the fan to a double blower(double fan), connect the fan directly... do away with a thermostat if you have any.. it's too old and busy to use one anyways..

Check your oil, if its turned milky or exhaust emits white smoke with irregular acceleration, then your top gasket may be blown and needs to be worked on.. if the water pump is bad, the sound of the vehicle would change aswell and very obvious.. you can check that aswell.

I think the double fan and a direct connection should solve your problem.., your car is too busy for a single fan.
I have double fan Sir

Couple of things can make a vehicle overheat such as ;
Low or No Coolant Bad Thermostat Air in the Line Bad radiator Old coolant
Possible Solutions ;
Top off your coolant level to max . Find and replace your thermostat. Bleed the air out of the coolant pressure hose line. Replace a faulty Radiator. Drain and Flush old coolant from the car .
Look into any of these and see if it helps .
Goodluck
Thanks Boss, I will look into that

First, I will advice not to buy from your 'trusted' uncle. No pun intended. My opinion though is based on a sad experience. Relationship doesn't go well with business.
Secondly, get to work and search for gulf 3, nissan sunny, almera, primera, mazda 323 all of 90's model. Get a mechanic, preferably a friend to assess it before payment. Remember, you are your most trusted mechanic. Shine your eyes well.
Thirdly, don't be in hurry.

Good luck
.
Thanks for your advise, I'll take note. I'm looking at golf 3, I've zero my mind from the posted car
