Is "rebrand" appropriate in that sentence or would "rebranding" have been a better substitute ?

I was processing it at OAUTH because i was an OAU student then but I couldn't complete the tests during my time, i ended up submitting only HIV cert which i got from a Federal Medical centre in Abuja.
